Are you telling a story? Does your story have a beginning, a middle, and an end? Do you use words like `and,' `but,' `so,' First,' `Then,' etc, as appropriate, to tell your story?

Planning and writing your story
Look at the three pictures. Make notes.
Who is in each picture? Give the person a name. Where is the person? What is around them? What happens in each picture?
Think about what you want to say. Remember, your story must have a beginning (Picture 1), a middle (Picture 2), and an end (Picture 3).
Write your story.
Read your story again ? fix spelling and grammar mistakes.
El primer paso es ver los tres dibujos y tomar notas sobre que pasa en cada dibujo. Identifica:
?Qui?n est? en cada dibujo? Dale un nombre. ?D?nde est? la persona? ?Qu? tiene alrededor? ?Qu? pasa en cada dibujo?
Piensa en lo que quieres decir. Recuerda que tu cuento tiene que cubrir los tres dibujos, empezando con el primero (principio), continuando con el segundo (medio), y terminando con el tercero (fin / desenlace).
Escribe tu cuento.
Como ?ltimo paso, ?lee tu cuento otra vez! Corrige los errores de estilo, gram?tica y punctuaci?n.
Example story
Example 1: (Present tenses) Julia is sleeping when her alarm clock goes off at 7:30am. Julie wakes up and makes breakfast. She has eggs and bacon and toast for breakfast. She drinks coffee. While she is eating breakfast, she reads the newspaper. Then she gets in her car and she drives to work. (49 words)
Notes: Picture 1: woman, sleeping, alarm clock - bedroom ... morning? Picture 2: food ? eggs, bacon, toast, coffee?, newspaper ... having breakfast Picture 3: car, driving ... going to work? My story: woman getting up, woman having breakfast, woman going to work
Example 1 (Spanish): Julia est? durmiendo cuando suena su alarma a las 7:30 de la ma?ana. Julia se despierta y prepara su desayuno. Come huevos y tocino y pan tostado. Toma caf?. Mientras desayuna, ella lee el peri?dico. Despu?s de desayunar, ella sube a su coche y va al trabajo.
Example 2: (Past tense)
Example 2 (Spanish):
The alarm clock went off. Tara woke up. She had breakfast. She ate eggs and toast and bacon for breakfast and she drank chocolate. She read the newspaper while she ate breakfast. Then Tara got in her car and drove to work.
Son? el alarma. Tara se despert?. Desayun?. Comi? huevos y pan tostada y tocino y tom? chocolate. Ley? el peri?dico mientras desayun?. Luego ella se subi? a su coche y fue al trabajo.
