Dr. George E. Menkens Memorial Scholarship. Ph.D. candidate (prelims completed prior to application deadline) in ecology, evolution, wildlife or fisheries. Electronically attach a c.v. and a 5-page (single spaced) proposal with a 300 word (or less) summary, introduction (including research objectives, hypotheses, and relevance), methods, and preliminary results, if available. List three references.

L. Floyd Clarke Graduate Scholar Award. Graduate student beginning a research project. Submit a 1-page, single-spaced proposal. If you are applying for the Menkens, provide an abbreviated 1-page version here as well. List three references.

L. Floyd Clarke Greater Yellowstone Scholarship.

1) Graduate student studying ecosystems in the Greater Yellowstone Area. Submit a 1-page, single-spaced proposal. List three references.

2) Undergraduate studying ecosystems in the Greater Yellowstone Area. Submit a 1-page, single-spaced proposal describing your proposed research. List two references.

Reed W. Fautin Memorial Scholarship. Junior, senior, or graduate. with a focus on terrestrial ecology or wildlife. Submit a 1- page letter indicating career goals, involvement in related activities and how the scholarship will help meet those goals. List two references.

Robert A. Jenkins Undergraduate Research Award. Junior or senior Biology, Zoology or Physiology major conducting or planning research in physiology, genetics, molecular, cellular or developmental biology. Submit a 1- page proposal. with three sections: summary, introduction (including research objectives, hypotheses, and relevance) and methods. List two references, one of whom should be your faculty research mentor.

Fisheries and Aquatic Ecology Awards:

Check the boxes for the awards for which you are applying. 

In a one-page essay, describe why you are interested in a career in fisheries or aquatic ecology, your career goals  and any work experiences or non-course involvement in these areas.  Include a list of fisheries and aquatic-related courses.

Dennis Jespersen Memorial Scholarship, (junior, senior or graduate).

Michael Yakimovich Award, (junior or senior). For students studying fisheries, aquatic biology, and/or herpetology.

Louis C. “Red” Rockett Memorial Scholarship, (junior, senior, or graduate).

George T. Baxter Fellowship, (graduate or postdoctoral).

Great Plains Fishery Worker’s Association Scholarship, (junior senior or graduate). For students in fisheries related fields. List two references who could support your application for this scholarship.

Jackson Hole One Fly Foundation Dennis Andersen Memorial Scholarship, (graduate student studying aquatic ecology) For those interested in aquatic ecology or wildlife management. List two references who could support your application for this scholarship.
