RESOLUTION SETTING COPYING AND DIGITAL DATA CHARGES FOR THE COUNTY AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION 475

WHEREAS, the County of Johnson is a duly organized, established, and an existing county within the State of Wyoming, and is a body corporate and politic; and

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Johnson County is the duly elected, qualified, and acting governing board of the County of Johnson, delegated by law to exercise the powers of the County as a body politic and corporate; and

WHEREAS, W.S. ? 16-4-202 provides the authority for public records and right of inspection by any person at reasonable times and W.S. ? 16-4-204 allows for persons with the right to inspect and copy any public records to be furnished copies, printouts or photographs for a reasonable fee, set by the official custodian; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Johnson County Commissioners approved Resolution 475 to adopt uniform copy charges and digital data charges for all agencies of the county on March 5, 2013; and

WHEREAS, additional rates need to be added to the charges set forth in Resolution 475.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Johnson County Commissioners hereby adopts this resolution and Resolution 475 is hereby rescinded and the following rates are to be charged by all county offices for copying charges and access to online data.

Retrieval and Copying Service Fees

County offices will retrieve and copy documents at no charge to the requesting party so long as the retrieval and copying time does not exceed four (4) hours. If the retrieval and copying time exceeds four hours, the requesting party will be charged $25.00 per man hour, prorated to the

tenth of an hour, for the total time that the retrieval and copying exceeds the four hour free service period.
