Introduction

In a previous study of the resurrection I made some statements regarding the resurrected body of our Lord Yahshua/Jesus that some diligent Bible believers challenged me about. I applaud them for taking the time to check up and to go about proving all things and to hold fast to what they confirm is true. Paul encouraged his disciples and audience to be wise and check all preaching and teaching. Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. 2Timothy 2:15 Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. One of the reasons for being challenged is that readers thought I didn't provide enough evidence or scriptural proof to back up some of my statements. For this I apologise. However, I do not apologise for anything I do/did back up with two or three witnesses.

The Resurrected Body of Messiah Yahshua/Jesus

To have a grasp or understanding of the resurrection, really starts by having a good understanding of our Lord Yahshua who is the Resurrection.

John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?

So, the answer to being resurrected is believing the Son of YHWH is the Anointed One and being in Him. He indeed is alive for ever more.

1 John 5:11 And this is the record, that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He that has the Son has life; and he that has not the Son of God has not life.

John 14:6 Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by Me.

We see from the above verses, that true life (eternal life) is not the physical soul life the animal kingdom and mankind experience. That type of life is mentioned in Genesis chapters 1 and 2. Check in the Hebrew (eg. Strong's concordance for individual words) because a lot of translations don't correctly translate what the original says.

Genesis 1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life , and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

Genesis 1:21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Genesis 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. Genesis 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.

Genesis 1:30 And to every beast (living) of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creeps upon the earth, wherein there is life , I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

Genesis 2:7 And YHWH God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life ; and man became a living soul.

Genesis 2:9 And out of the ground made YHWH God to grow
