FIT FOR LIFE classes in Falconbridge expands to 3 days a week!!!YOGA is on vacation but FIT for LIFE Exercise is back!!!!Lisa Gilbert, our wonderful neighborhood Yoga instructor, has sold her house in Falconbridge. We’ll miss Lisa very much, but wish her well as she does some travelling, then decides what place she will call home next. We are looking at options for offering more Yoga classes in the future.FIT for LIFE Exercise has expanded to three days a week!The first week of our new Fit for Life classes begins on Tuesday, April 3rd. We are expanding the offering to three classes a week, so this is a great time to try it out, if you haven’t participated before! We now have classes on Tuesday (9:00 AM – 10:00 AM), Thursday (9:30 AM – 10:30 AM) and Saturday (9:00 AM – 10:00 AM. Space is limited to twelve students in each class.Fit for Life is a full-body workout. A variety of exercises will increase your muscle strength, range of motion and make you more durable for daily activities.Equipment: Yoga mat, hand-held weights (1 – 3 lb), elastic tubing with handles and a 9" thera-ball are used for resistance. A chair is used for seated exercises and standing support. Adapted for each student’s fitness level and abilities, class is suitable for beginning to intermediate skill levels.
