THE ROUND TABLE ON BLACK HISTORY MONTH ANNOUNCESANGELO CADET, DIDIER LUCIEN AND DAWN TYLER WATSONAS SPOKESPEOPLE FOR 2013Montreal, January 21st, 2013– The Round Table on Black History Month is proud to announce that AngeLo Cadet and Didier Lucier will be spokespeople for Black History Month this year. In addition, the talented Dawn Tyler Watson will be the Anglophone spokesperson for this 22nd edition. The month will take place all across Quebec from February 1st to the 28th, 2013.AngeLo Cadet, who requires no introduction, began his career at MusiquePlus as the host of Perfecto & Hollywood PQ, and was also a reporter for TQS show Flash. AngeLo has worked in television, film, communications and theatre for over 20 years. He also teaches the "Television Practices" course for final-year students at Conservatoire Lassalle. Angelo is currently working on a number of projects behind the camera and just finished writing a new web TV show entitled BVD-Ben Voyons Donc !, for which he's about to film a pilot.Didier Lucien is well known by the general public for his role as Dominique on Pure Laine, but also especially among young people for his portrayal of Bob in Dans une galaxie près de chez vous (the TV series and two films). He could be seen on stage in Manhattan Medea, Cravate Club and La charge de l’orignal épormyable, in theatres in films like French Kiss and Days of Darkness, and most recently on the Internet and on Montreal Metro screens, as Didier Ze Mime. Following his hospitalization, he returned to the stage with La cage aux folles, to television with Les Sioui-Bacon, and to film with ?milie and La ferme des humains.These two friends hosted 9.5 on Vox and their bond makes them exceptional sponsors for Black History Month.An accomplished artist, Dawn Tyler Watson is a multiple winner of the Quebec Lys Blues Award for Best Female Artist, and of the 2009 Album of the Year Award for her record “En Duo” with guitarist extraordinaire, Paul Deslauriers. As part of the Festival France Blues, Dawn took home the International Female Artist of the Year trophy in 2008. She has shared the stage with great international artists like Cyndi Lauper, and Oliver Jones, among others.
