(seamstress leaves the mountain 1:35:41)Discussion: Compare seeing it acted out vs reading it. How does it make you feel? Do the visuals make it more real? Does it distract from the story? What do you think of the actors, do you think they move and speak the way you imagined they would?What about the flip tp the future when they’ve gone home, how does this effect the way you understand Luo and the Narrator?Do you think the difference in the ending helps or takes away from the original ending?Activity 3Review “Jeopardy” GameStudents will divide into 4 teams (aprox. 6 per team)The “Jeopardy” game will be posted up on the smart boardI will ask students to choose a category and a point valueThey will have 10 seconds to answer the review questions based on their homework, class discussions and the review PowerPoint.They must line up in their groups and then must go to the back of their line after the first person has answered.Students may steal questions if the first person makes a mistake.They will not be have access to their notes.If students are excited and well engaged in the activity they have the chance to win a bonus mark on the exam for the class. If game is not keeping score properly we will keep score on paper.Closure:Ask students if this review has been clear to them?Wish students luck and reminders again End of class.
