I love seeing the work that you upload to HWB. There are videos on how to access HWB on our website, you can upload videos and photos to your files to show me what you have been doing. There is a video on the website that shows how to do this too! Here are the next tasks for you to complete with a grown up at home; we are celebrating ‘Bee Fortnight!’ Take photos of the things that you are doing and upload them to HWB, I will be able to see what you are doing and leave a comment! If you see a speech bubble on your work, click this and you will see my comments. The next work will be uploaded on Monday 8th June.Take care, Miss James x Daily Do’s- These are the different things that we do in school every day.Phonics- practise the learning the letter sound by sight and using the letter formation jingles to help you write the sound. There are Phonics videos on the website which can help you with this.Practise counting to 10, backwards and forwards.Singing nursery rhymes, choose a different rhyme for each day!Practise writing your name, use the letter formation jingles to help you.Days of the week, what day is it today? What are the bees making?2. What won’t the Very Greedy Bee do?3. Who helps the Very Greedy Bee?4. How do the bees feel at the end?What makes a good day for you? What makes you happy? (In the story, sharing makes the bees happy!) Draw, paint or use JIT to make your picture of your good day!The bees are so busy! They have been making patterns for you to follow with your fingers! You will need to look in Shared File. They have been busy making shapes too, can you recognise these shapes? Can you find some of the shapes in your homes? Do not forget to save!Can you make your own special bee? You can use anything you have at home! What is the name of your bee?Listen to School Radio- EYFS Listen and Play- Minibeasts- . What minibeasts can you hear? Move like the different minibeasts, upload videos to HWB so I can guess which minibeast you are!I have shared a beehive counting activity to your Shared File, can you recognise the numbers on each beehive and drag the right number of bees to the hives! Before you start this activity, you will need to click edit on the top left-hand corner! Do not forget to save! There are 3 different tasks, choose which numbers your child is confident with! Try all 3 if you want!There are new sounds to practise your letter formations, can you find different items in your house that start with these sounds? Look in your Shared File.If you have an iPad or an apple device, you can download the Bee Bot app. You can move Bee Bot in different directions, start with Level 1!Read the story 10 Magic Butterflies- how many flowers turn into butterflies in the story! Make your own flowers using anything you have at home. Can you count how many flowers you have? Then add one more. How many do you have now? For a challenge, can you practise making 5 e.g. 3 flowers and 2 flowers make 5 flowers altogether! How many ways can you make 5? If you can do this, then try 10! Watch the demonstration videos on how to do this activity!Could you make a bee hotel outdoors? You can use bamboo sticks, sticks, twigs, or anything that you have outdoors! Remember bees love flowers! Take photos of what you make and upload to HWB!Read the story ‘Please, Please the Bees- . Can you find out how honey is made? 2. Can you find out the name of a famous bear that likes honey? Draw a picture of this bear on JIT!3. Make your own poster to help the bees sell their honey! You can use paper and take a photo or use JIT. Draw a picture of what you would like to put on your poster! Can you write a few words underneath about what your picture shows; have a go at writing these words independently sounding out the words, use the letter formation jingles to help you! Or begin mark making independently! Your grown up at home can record you talking about your poster and upload it to HWB!414440610341Make your own bee number formations! Get your grown up to write the numbers on a piece of paper. You can finger paint, use pens, chalks, pencils to help you practise writing the numbers (try and use yellow and black if you can!).
