For Home Owners General

In order to get the ultimate benefit from your FLM 40 you should read through the For Home Owners section in this Installation and Maintenance Instruction.

FLM 40 is an exhaust air module. This means it can utilise the energy in the ventilation air. The energy is used to raise the temperature of the ingoing brine to the heat pump.

FLM 40 is intended to be installed with ground source heat pumps from NIBE in houses or the like.

Installation data

To be filled in when the exhaust air module has been installed. The serial number (95), must always be stated in all correspondence with NIBE.

When the room air has passed The air from the kitchen fan through the exhaust air mo- goes directly ouFtXin1to10a sepadule it is discharged. The tem- rate duct. perature has then dropped as FLM 40 has utilised the energy in the room air.

FLM 40 is an exhaust air module specially designed to combine recovery of mechanical exhaust air with an energy collector in the gEroxturancdt aoirr Einxhraoucskt a. iFr LM 40 is designed to connect to the FIG?H1T6E0R 124?0/1162050 type of ground heat pump.

The integrated DC-fan in FLM 40 exFtrLaMcts4t0he air from the wet areas of the house to the recovery unit. Here the energy is transferred to the heat pump's brine, whereby the temperature increases and raises the heat pump's heating factor. Energy is stored in the ground or rock collector even if the heat pump is not in operation, which fully utilises the exhaust air energy.

The heat pump capacity is not bound by the amount of air, but the output can be optimally adapted to suit the size of the house.

FLM 40 is positioned directly on FIGHTER 1240/1250, but can also be mounted using brackets (accessory) on the wall.

Brine in Brine out

The fan in FLM 40 can be set to three modes, A, B or C. One of these iWs ?rmequellen-E used as the normal mode depending on the selected exhaust air flow. If mode B is used as the normal mWod?erm, equellen-A it is possible toFoIGbtHaTinEgRre1a2t2e0r ventilation by using mode C. In the same way, A can be used to temporarily obtain lesser ventilation.

If mode C is used as the normal mode, it is only possible to obtain lesser ventilation, in two steps, A or B.

The warm room air is drawn into the air duct system.

Air is transported from rooms with outdoor air devices to rooms with exhaust air devices.
