LESSON 1 Heading: Language: Direct Speech Revision

Look at the example in the E4S Tool Box on Pg 236 as a reminder about punctuation, capital letters and so on.

WRITE: Complete the Direct Speech activity. Be sure to check that punctuation is all in the correct place by looking back at Pg 236

NB: When the first character speaks, end the direct speech with their name; when other characters speak begin with their name.

Remember: Try to use variations of the word `said'. Variations of `asked' could be enquired, demanded, questioned, requested ? but

they must suit or match the context.
