Carefully bend the flexible goose neck.

Connecting the microphone

Connect the XLR-3 socket of the microphone cable (optional accessories) to the XLR-3 socket of the microphone.

Installation Using accessories

The MZH 908 D (left image) and MZH 908 B (right image) clips are available as optional accessories for the e 608.

Remove the attached clip from the goose neck. Unscrew the screw on the clip. Press the clip firmly onto the goose neck. Tighten the screw on the clip.

Operation

Positioning the microphone on a wind instrument

Use the microphone clamp to attach the e 608 to the bell of the instrument.

It is vital to observe the following notes:

Commentary

Use the supplied clamp to attach the microphone to the bell of the instrument.

For a Saxophone, the microphone should normally be directed partly towards the bell and partly towards the body of the instument.

Positioning the microphone on a drum

Attach the drum clamp to the rim of the drum. Position the microphone on the drum so that it is 3 to 5cm above the drumhead.

To prevent feedback and crosstalk, postion your monitor loudspeakers in the angle area of the highest cancellation of the microphone (approx. 120?).

CAUTION LIQUIDS CAN DAMAGE THE ELECTRONICS OF THE PRODUCT! Liquids entering the housing of the product can cause a short-circuit and damage the electronics.

Keep all liquids away from the product. Do not use any solvents or cleansing agents. Disconnect the products from the power supply system and remove rechargeable batteries and batteries before you begin cleaning. Clean all products only with a soft, dry cloth.
