Insert a table in Weebly

Weebly doesn¡¯t allow users to create tables directly in it. You can use Microsoft Word to create a table first, then

some changes, you need to do it in Word and embed the table again.

Here are the specific steps:

1. Open your Microsoft Word and insert a table.

2. Go to File->Save As->Choose ¡°Single File Web Page (*.mht; *mhtml)¡± to save your table.

3. Open the Word document you just created (notice it is saved as a webpage file). You will see it opens in your

web browser.

4. Select the table in your

webpage. Then go to View>Source in Internet

Explorer (Tools->Web

Developer->Page Source

in Firefox). You will see a

text file with html code

opens.

5. In the text file window, go to

Edit->Select All, then press

Ctrl+C in your keyboard to

copy all the code.

6. Go to your Weebly webpage,

drag the ¡°Custom HTML¡±

website builder into your

webpage. Then paste (press

Ctrl+V on your keyboard) the

code into the editing area.

7. Click on any place outside of

the editing area, you should be

able to see the table you just

created.

Create a calendar in Weebly

Since the calendar function is not available in Weebly, you can create your calendar first in Google Calendar and then

embed the calendar into your Weebly website.

Google Calendar is easy and also free. You can manage your calendar in Google and changes will automatically show

up in your site created by Weebly.

To get started, you need to have a Google account.

Log into your Google account, and then go to Google calendar (you will find it if you click on "more" on top of the

window).

You will see a new calendar ready

for you when you open up Google

calendar.

To add events, click on the date of

the event, and you will see the

picture on the left.

Enter your event description

into the blank box, then click

"Create event". You can edit

detailed information of your

event by clicking into "Edit

event". You can choose a

color you like for your

calendar, so you events will

show up as this color on the

calendar.

After you have everything set up on your calendar, you can

add the calendar to your site with the following steps.

In the ¡°My calendars¡± list on the left, point your mouse to

the calendar you want to add to the website (there might

be more than one calendars), then click on the down-arrow

that shows on the right. Choose "Calendar settings".

tab and see the "Embed this

calendar" section.

code to embed the calendar into

your site.

builder

and drop it to the

editing area.

Past the calendar embed code to the

editing area (where shows ¡°click here
