42nd Saturday Lancaster Breakfast hosted by Harold & Linda Robinson

It was great to see everyone at our first breakfast of 2022 at the Golden Corral. There were 11 Retreads with no bikes in the parking lot (for obvious reasons). We did not have our normal room for breakfast this morning but it all worked out well. As we arrived, Mike (the GM), asked if a Church group that had been trying to get the room for a couple weeks now could use the room since they had a speaker. We being the kind and understanding folks we are, graciously obliged. A gentleman from the group even came out and thanked us. No need to worry, even though we changed the breakfast date we still have our private room. We had a very cheery and talkative group and discussed this years upcoming events. 2022 is looking promising! The 50/50 was won by Ron Linderman and the free breakfasts were won by Tom Heckles and Chris Kreitzer. One note: the cost for breakfast will be $10 per person starting in February (it has been $9.50). We still get two free breakfasts for our group. We would like to thank everyone for coming to breakfast this morning and hope to see you at next month's breakfast (or somewhere). - Linda and Harold Robinson

3rd Saturday Shartlesville Breakfast hosted by Rick & Darlene Horst.

Our first breakfast of the new year was a cold one. The temperature was in the single digits so it was no surprise that there were no motorcycles in the parking lot. However, the cold weather did not stop 14 people from showing up for breakfast. They will all receive 1 point for coming out today. As usual we had good food and great fellowship. The 50/50 was won by Chris Kreitzer. The snow may look beautiful but I believe everyone is looking forward to the warmer weather. I saw a sign that said winter is half over, think camping. Lets change that to winter is half over, think riding. Rick & Darlene

From the Reps

Well we made it through the first month of the new year. We had two breakfast meetings this month and the Polar Bear Ride was cancelled because of weather, but bad weather is what we can expect during this time but that is ok, it is to be cold during the months of January, February and March. During the breakfasts we started keeping track of who is attending so that awards and prizes can be handed out at the end of the year for the top three in attendance over all. As we look forward to this year's riding season with Rallies planned from May thru September, one about each month in addition to all the other activities we have a busy schedule and this could not be done and or planned without the help of our members. We want to say thank you to everyone who helps keep our club going we are so grateful to have you, keep up the great work. Remember even if you do not ride a motorcycle anymore you are still more than welcome to come to any and all events that we have, do not feel like you have to stay at home. We would love to see some of the older members who have not been out for a while life is too short you need to enjoy while you can and your friends are missing you. I have handed out some of the Denim shirts at the Shartlesville breakfast this month and have a few more to hand out so if you ordered one please send me an email, text or phone call and let me know what event you will be at next so that I can bring your shirt along. Also if you have not renewed your membership please do so now, it would be nice to get everyone renewed so that everyone is done and accounted for and cards can be completed. Greg and I are looking forward to seeing more of you this coming year....

Condolences

Mid Atlantic Rally planning meeting

The planning meeting for the 2022 Mid Atlantic Rally will be held on February 12 at Yoders Banquet Hall in New Holland PA at 2 p.m. All members are welcome to attend this meeting. We need ride leaders, ride assistants, and helpers with registration. Feel free to attend the meeting and let us know where you would like to help. If you want to help but cannot attend the meeting please notify me at 717-818-5482 or artgrantz@ There will be a 2nd meeting on Saturday May 7 at 9:00 a.m. to finalize the rally plans and stuff the welcome bags.
