Director Supply Logistics Description:

Reporting to the AVP, Supply Chain, the Director will assist, support and coordinate the objectives and goals of the Shands Materials Management Department in relationship to the supply chain management program and Integrated Service Center (ISC). Facilitate the identification and implementation of supply chain improvements to meet customer service requirements. Direct, document and coordinate communication as it relates to customer service levels, new, additional or changed delivery points and new /enhanced programs affecting the ISC.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

BA/BS Degree preferably in Business Administration and three (3) years of healthcare management experience. Minimum 3 years in the supply chain management activities as they relate to Healthcare organizations, including in-depth understanding of warehouse and distribution functions and experience with medical and non-medical supplies. Knowledgeable of warehouse / distribution computer systems, spreadsheets and report generation programs.
