| |In granting this sanction it is understood and agreed that USA Swimming shall be free from any liabilities or claims or |

| |damages arising by reason of injuries to anyone during the conduct of the event. |

|MEET FORMAT: |The FAST Unicorn Eliminator meet will have timed final distance events on Friday and a Prelim/Final format for the 11-12 and |

| |13-14 age groups Saturday and Sunday. FAST reserves the right to reorganize finals as needed. |

|FACILITY: |Indoor 25-yard 10-lane pool. The meet will either be run in heats of
8-lanes or 10-lanes dependent upon number of entries |

The water depth of the competition pool is a consistent 7 feet..
The competitions course has been certified in |

| |accordance with 104.2.2C (4). No exhibition swimming is allowed. |

| |NOTE: FAST reserves the right to slightly alter the start times for all meet sessions. Finals may be restructured. Changes |

| |to session start times will be posted on the FAST website no later than April 5th, 2021. |

| |There will be a coach’s’ meeting in the guardroom 10 minutes to the start of the warm-up for the 11-12 200s, Session 2, Friday|

| |night. Coaches MUST DISPLAY CURRENT CREDENTIALS. |

| | | |

|WARM UPS |Prelim warm-up sessions will be assigned. Teams will be allotted space to accommodate five or less swimmers per lane. |

| |Coaches will have the ability to run pace and/or starts under their direction in assigned lanes. No more than one hundred and |

| |thirty athletes will be assigned to any warm up session. Assignments will be sent out no later than April 5th, 2021. |

| |Finals warm up will be Open- No more than 5 athletes per lane during warm up. |

| | |

| |After racing, athletes who choose to warm down will go directly to the warm down lanes in the shallow end and may warm. They |

| |must then exit the warm down pool and exit the pool area as directed by the social distancing plan. |

| |  |

| |At a sanctioned competitive event, USA Swimming athlete members must be under the supervision of a USA Swimming member coach |

| |during warm-up, competition, and warm-down. |

| | |

| |Current USA/CSI procedures for warm-up will be used and will be strictly enforced.  Coaches are asked to make sure their |

| |swimmers understand and abide by these procedures. The standard CSI warm-up procedures are in effect for this meet. This |

| |includes swimmers entering the warm-up lanes using a 3-point feet-first entry where both feet and one hand must be in contact |

| |with the deck or end wall immediately prior to entering the water. |

|ELIGIBILITY: |Meet is open to all swimmers holding a 2021 USA Swimming membership. Any swimmer that appears on the CSI exception report |

| |without registration must come to the meet prepared to show their card. Age on April 9th, 2021 determines age group. Per USA|

| |Swimming rule 302.4, Colorado Swimming Inc. will impose a fine of $100 per swimmer who shows up on the post meet registration.|

| |No exhibition swimming is allowed. |

| | |

| |Swimmers must have achieved at least one 2021 CSI Consideration time in their age group to participate in the meet. 10 and |

| |under athletes with a 2021 CSI Priority Time will not be allowed to enter the meet. Time Standards do not apply to FAST |

| |athletes. |

|ENTRIES: |Swimmers are limited to 3 events per day. |

| |All times submitted must be entered in short course yards. |

| |All entries must be submitted via email in Hy-tek format using Meet Manager or Commlink files. Hard copies of entries must be |

| |submitted by the deadline. All entries are to be on CSI master sheets, which lists the swimmer’s name and age (as on the first|

| |day of the meet), team code, USA number, and entry time |

| | |

| | |

|Registration |On-Deck Registration for this meet is not permitted |

|DECK ENTRIES: |Deck Entries will only be accepted by the meet director and meet referee if the athlete is already entered in the meet and no |

| |extra heats are created. |

|ENTRY FEES: |Individual Events: $15.00 |Deck Entries: $20.00 per individual event |

| |Pool Surcharge: $25.00 | |

| |$1.25 of each individual event goes to the CSI support fund. |

| | |

| |Any team entering 5 or more swimmers not using HY-Tek must add $30.00 surcharge for handling entries. |

| | |

| |All Non-FAST USA Swimming officials who volunteer to work three complete sessions will have fees reimbursed for one swimmer, |

| |except for the $1.25 per event CSI fee. |

| | |

|ENTRY DEADLINE: |E-mail entries will open on Wednesday March 24th at noon and must be received by the Entry Chair by March 31st , 2021. |

| |Hardcopy confirmation, meet verification form and payment must be received for entries to be accepted. |

| |Entries that do not accompany payment will be placed at the back of the registration line until payment is received. |

| |Preference may also be afforded to teams who register swimmers for events on multiple days. Teams that only register swimmers|

| |for one day reduce the total number of swimmers that can participate in the meet. |

|RULES: |Current USA Swimming Rules, including the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (“MAAPP”), will govern this meet 2021 USA |

| |rules shall apply. The rules and procedures of Colorado Swimming also apply. The Meet Referee will be the final authority|

| |for the conduct of the meet. |

| |Any swimmer entered in the meet, unaccompanied by a USA Swimming member coach, must be certified by a USA Swimming member |

| |coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. It is the |

| |responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement. |

| |The standard CSI warm-up procedures are in effect for this meet. This includes swimmers entering the warm-up lanes using a |

| |3-point feet-first entry where both feet and one hand must be in contact with the deck or end wall immediately prior to |

| |All swimmers, Coaches, Officials, and volunteers will be required to complete the CSI Waiver of Liability |

| |Officials' session briefing will occur 1/2 hour prior to the next session.  Briefings will occur in the Meeting Room at |

| |EPIC. Please make sure your credentials are up to date and be prepared to show your Deck Pass |

| |NO SMOKING is allowed anywhere in the facility |

| |Deck space is reserved for swimmers, officials, coaches, and volunteers. |

| |Spectators will not be permitted in the pool or bleachers. |

| |9.Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, still camera, video recorder, etc. is not allowed in |

| |the facility restrooms |

| |Operation of a drone, or any flying apparatus, is prohibited over the venue (pools, athlete/coach areas, spectator areas, |

| |and open ceiling locker rooms) any time athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators are present |

| |Deck changing is strictly forbidden. |

| |-Swim competitions organized by the Fort Collins Area Swim Team at the EPIC or other venues may be live streamed online or |

| |broadcasted over the air. Children participating in the swimming event may be captured in the video stream. Video capture |

| |is conducted consistent with this policy and USA Swimming guidelines. Such livestreams may be stored online for later |

| |streaming. FAST may broadcast the participating athletes’ name, age, the affiliation team, event information she/he |

| |participates in and the results of the event.” |

|DISTANCE EVENTS: |1650 Freestyles, 400 IMs and 500 Freestyles may be limited to the top 40 in each gender. Swimmers need to find counters |

| |already in the athletes in the session for the 1650 and 500 Freestyles. |

| | |

|MEET LIMIT: |Maximum of 450 swimmers, 150 per session and/or limited by session length of 3 hours per session. Late entries will NOT be |

| |accepted. |

| | |

|AGE GROUPS: |11-12, 13-14, 14 and under |

| | | |

|CHECK-IN: |All Swimmers will be aligned into heats and escorted to the blocks by the clerk of course. Report no-shows/scratches for |

| |events to the Admin Ref. There will be no swim penalty for failure to swim an event. Refunds will NOT be given for events |

| |not swum. |

|Officials |Official uniform will be white polo shirt over black shorts, skirt, or pants, black socks, and predominately black shoes. |

| |Session briefings will be held at the start of each warm up session. |

|Coaches |Coaches may pick up their programs/packets at the announcer’s table. Heat sheets for each session will be available for |

| |purchase at Concessions. Coaches will be required to sign in and must show proof of current credentials to be on deck. |

| |Teams may be limited to how many coaches they are allowed to have on deck each session. |
