This is your extra credit movie list for the entire year. Do not lose this as you will not get another copy. You will only get credit for watching the proper movie during the time periods designated by the teacher.

Your PARENTS are responsible for supervising and approving all movies (Especially “R” rated)

Many of these movies will be hard to find: Try many different sources.

Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, smaller and older video stores may have some copies of older movies

How to Receive Extra Credit:

1. Watch on t.v., cable, or rent the movie.

2. Staple the receipt to the paper you will write, along with your parent’s signature confirming that

you watched the movie.

.3. You are to write a 1 to 2 page review of the movie. DO NOT RE-TELL THE MOVIE TO ME!!!

I have seen all of these movies so you do not need to explain it to me! I want your personal reaction to the movie i.e. Did you like the movie? Why or Why not? Was it uplifting or sad? How did you feel after watching the movie? Were you affected positively or negatively? Did this movie make you think about history and what really happened? Did the movie make you angry, patriotic, proud or did you have no reaction all? Would you recommend this movie to other students? Why? You must explain all of your opinions. Do not just write down the questions then answer them! Pretend that you are a newspaper critic and give me a review, influence me through your writing. Rate the movie “thumbs up/thumbs down”, 4 of 5 Jalopenas etc....

4. You may only do (2) per progress report period. This means you could earn up to 60 points per grading cycle. You may earn up to 10 points per movie. This is a good opportunity to watch movies with your parents and also get credit for doing so.
