Hannah Weinberger
[Pages:1]Hannah Weinberger
Hannah Weinberger is a reporter at Crosscut, part of KCTS9 PBS in Seattle, focused on science and environment coverage. She writes about outdoor recreation, natural resources, natural disasters, wildlife management, environmental and health sciences, and similar arenas in which tension arises between society and the environment -- and the consequences of treating those worlds as separate. Hannah believes outdoor sports and field sciences are powerful vehicles through which to learn about the outdoors, and that educated guesses (and the confidence to follow them) lead us to some of the most valuable lessons about nature and ourselves. Prior to joining Crosscut a year and a half ago, Hannah vetted outdoor gear for Wirecutter, briefly freelanced, edited for Bicycling Magazine, and was an editorial assistant at Outside Magazine.
