Bethel University’s Renaissance Choir is coming to your area

Renaissance Choir, Bethel University’s dynamic, inspiring “performance troupe” uses choir, soloists, and ensembles to showcase the talents of Bethel students. The choir also showcases a complete rhythm section with student musicians. The Renaissance Choir encompasses vocal and instrumental talent that will thrill audiences everywhere.

“Serious music and sizzling performance” sets the tone for this exciting collection of over 100 talented students. The choir performs uplifting, spiritual songs that will excite you and make you feel the presence of God.

The Renaissance Choir is directed by Bradley Gray who has been an active musician in secular and church music. His experience as a musician has been very broad including the Tulsa Symphony, Tulsa Pops, and the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus. He has conducted choirs of all size at the professional and volunteer level. Also, he has served as Minister of Worship and Associate Pastor of churches in Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Missouri.

The Renaissance Choir is also co-directed by Dr. Beth Everett who is Chair of the Division of Music, Assistant Professor of Music, and Associate Conductor of Renaissance at Bethel University.  She has also served concurrently as assistant conductor of the Amman YWCA Choir and trained various choruses for performances with the National Music Conservatory orchestra. In addition to this, Everett has prepared choruses for Meadows Opera Theater and Southern Opera and Musical Theater productions.

Renaissance builds on Bethel’s already rich performance tradition to extend the reputation and the reach of the University. From stages, platforms, and pulpits – large and small- Renaissance shows the world the Bethel University, and her students, are among the best in the nation.
