Q: Not 100% with the fact of having a bonus for "wear" a weapon only in the hands (not use it or be in your "good" arm but I can live it). A: The character is considered to be "using" it for defensive purposes even if they aren't attacking with it. They certainly can't use the hand for anything else. ................
