Industry partners must use this statement and/or URL or other method prescribed by the agency in all products. The messages must be shown to end-users within the software in a way to maximize the likelihood the message is read. The Ohio Department of Taxations aims to process refunds withing 90 days of the refund request. Interest is paid on any overpayment in excess of one dollar from the date of the overpayment until the date of the refund of the overpayment, except that if any overpayment is refunded within 90 days after the due date of the annual return or within 90 days after the return was filed, whichever is later, no interest shall be allowed on such overpayment. See R.C. 5747.11(C).Taxes due expectationsThe Ohio Department of Taxation is providing a URL and/or a statement about taxes due, such as due dates and payment methods. Industry partners must use this statement and/or URL or other method prescribed by the agency in all products. The messages must be shown to end-users within the software in a way to maximize the likelihood the message is read. Interest is due from the unextended due date until the date the tax is paid. Please remember, an extension of time to file does not extend the time for payment of the tax due.
