This Weekend of celebrating the Boer Goat is being brought to you by the Snake River Meat Goat Association.

Both Shows are Official ABGA Shows and ABGA rules shall govern.

All animals must be registered with ABGA. Original registration certificates must be presented at check in for any animal over 3 (three) months of age. Stamped received copies of applications for animals under 3 months accepted. All animals must be tattooed and be readable.

Base date for computing age is May 1st, 2021 (Saturday show) and May 2nd, 2021 (Sunday show)

All animals will be health checked prior to unloading. No animals will be allowed to unload if exhibiting signs of illness, contagious disease, external parasites, sore mouth, or abscesses. Any abscess site must be healed and haired over.

Check-in and Arrival Time: We will begin checking in goats at 12:00 (noon) on Friday April 30th, 2021. After unloading your animals please report to the Show Secretary with your papers to get checked-in. If you are going to be late arriving (after 9:00p.m.) please give us a call or text (541) 212-1967, so we can make sure to be there to help you. Goat arrivals accepted until 1 hour prior to show time however arrival and check in the night before is preferred due to how busy we are the morning of the show.

Awards: The ABGA will provide Ribbons and Rosettes for both shows. Ribbons through fifth place, Rosettes for Grand and Reserve Champions.

Entries: Fees must accompany entries. Entries will not be considered received and pens will not be reserved until fees are received. Entries and/or substitutions can be made up until start of show. Entries received after April 29th, 2021 may not be included in the show program. Note: Substitutions are allowed, but no refunds. Please make checks Payable to SRMGA & send entry forms & fees to

Fees: (For ABGA Shows) – Due to Saturday being judged by two judges simultaneously if you participate in Saturdays show you will have to pay for both shows.

Saturday Fees

NON SRMGA member: Fee is $40.00 per head

SRMGA Member: Fee is $28.00 per head

Sunday Fees

Non SRMGA members: Fee is $20.00 per head, per show.

SRMGA Member: Fee is $14.00 per head, per show.

LATE FEE: All entries received after April 29th are subject to late fees of $5 per entry

Pen Fees: $10.00 per pen (1 to 4 animals per pen depending on size and age). Additional pens needed at check-in may not be available or separated from other pens. All pens will be assigned prior to check-in date. If you wish to have a tack pen please include it on entry form. Pens will be supplied with bedding (straw). Pen numbers are set so if you sign up late pens may or may not be available so make sure to get entries in early. If there are no pens available you will have to show out of your trailer. Pens are not considered reserved until paid.

Pen Cleaning Fees: There will be an additional $5 per pen cleaning fee. This fee is refundable if you clean your pens out and push debris into center alley. If you do not clean your pens you will forfeit your $5 per pen.

Refunds: There are NO refunds on show entries other than pen cleaning fees.

Meals – Saturday & Sunday we will take a lunch break so everyone has time to get something to eat, see list of nearby places.

Advertisement Opportunities: Ask about sponsorships to the SRMGA.

Raffle – We will be holding a raffle Sunday afternoon. If you would like to donate something to the raffle please let us know. Everyone who donates items to the raffle will get farm or business name listed on a flyer displayed at the show.

Insurance – This event is part of the Washington State Goat Breeders Association’s Annual Events.

Camping- Camping fees are $15.00 per night for just electric hook ups by barns. If you are going to camp up in the camp spots in the grassy area the fee is $25.00 per night and that includes all hook ups. If you plan on camping you need to send an e-mail to srmga@ to arrange that and pay the fee in the entry forms for that.

Liability – Signing the entry form or sending it in electronically says you assume (as the owner) all responsibility of your stock - risk of injury or health is your liability and not that of the SRMGA. We make no guarantees at a show that your animal will not become ill or injured and you (as the owner) take that risk.

Dogs – Are NOT allowed at the fairgrounds as of 2016 via Payette County Fair Policy.
