Park Scholarship North Carolina State UniversityThe Park Scholarship at NC State is a full merit based scholarship valued at over $15,000/year for in-state students. A stipend for the purchase of a personal computer is also provided along with funding for academic enrichment activities. Approximately 50 scholarship recipients will be selected this year from a field of over 1,000 highly qualified candidates. Approximately 32 of those scholarships will be awarded to NC petition for this scholarship is stiff, and East Wake will be able to endorse up to two candidates to compete for the scholarship. The scholarship committee will select the top two candidates and forward their names to the Park Scholarship Committee at NC State. Interested students who are not endorsed by the school may also apply. Cheatham-White Scholars will represent students with a broad range of interests, proficient in areas of both the arts and sciences, demonstrate leadership potential and a strong commitment to service. Each recipient is awarded a fully funded four-year scholarship that covers the cost of all of the following: full tuition, student fees, housing, meals, textbooks, a laptop, supplies, travel, and personal expenses.
