Catholic High School for Boys: CHS is an all boys Catholic school associated with the Diocese of Little Rock. CHS offers only college-preparatory courses. An admission exam is required but does not insure acceptance. There is also an interview process for each applicant and parent. Catholic High is a member of the AR Activities Association (AAA) and offers a variety of sports: football, basketball, golf, soccer, bowling, tennis, cross-country, track, baseball, swimming and cheerleading. CHS also has a band program and an ROTC program. Enrollment is app. 600 students with the class size averaging 25 students. Financial assistance is available. CHS phone # 664-3939. Central AR Christian: CAC is affiliated with the Church’s of Christ. CAC offers curriculum to meet the needs of all students. They offer honors and Advanced Placement classes. Students are also allowed to receive dual credit in association with Pulaski Tech College and UCA. CAC sports are sanctioned by AAA and offer a wide variety of competitive sports. CAC also offers a band, choral, debate and drama program. Enrollment averages about 100 students per grade level with an average of 25 students per class. Central High School. This public school is part of the Little Rock School District. Central has over 2,400 students, 9th-12th grade. Along with a regular based curriculum, Central also offers honors and Advanced Placement classes. Central is sanctioned through the AAA and offers a variety of sports: baseball, football, basketball, softball, soccer, cross country, track, tennis, swimming, volleyball, cheerleading and dance team. Episcopal Collegiate Academy: Episcopal Collegiate School: ECS is a private school affiliated with the Episcopal Church. ECS offers a strong curriculum with honors and Advanced Placement courses. Enrollment is app. 385 students, with an

average class size of 14. Episcopal sports are sanctioned through the

AAA and include: baseball, football, basketball, golf, tennis, volleyball, soccer,

softball, track, cross-country, wrestling, and cheerleading.

e-STEM Charter School: As quoted from their website: “eStem Public Charter Schools’ students will study economics related to the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) using the Arkansas core curriculum. The e-Stem difference is that student learning is supplemented with a challenging course of study that includes foreign languages, advanced math and science and a broad liberal arts background. Combined with an extended school day and a longer school year, e-Stem is a college preparatory environment focusing on individual student academic achievement.” The Admissions Office is located at 200 S. Lisa Academy: Lisa Academy is a community school that offers a college preparatory program with emphasis on science, mathematics and technology. Enrollment is about 420 students. Lisa Academy is located at 21 Corporate Hill Drive. Their phone number is 227-4942. For more information go to

Little Rock Christian Academy: LRCA is an independent faith based school. LRCA pursues a rigorous curriculum with an emphasis in writing. They offer several honors and Advanced Placement courses. LRCA athletics are governed by the AAA and include football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, softball, golf, swimming, tennis, track, cross country and cheerleading. Mount St. Mary Academy: MSM is an all girl Catholic school associated with the Sisters of Mercy Community. MSM participates in the International Baccalaureate Program in 11th and 12th grade. Honor Courses are offered beginning in 9th grade. Beginning in 2007, MSM is working with UCA for dual credit in some subject areas. An admission exam is required for all 9th graders. Community service/volunteer work is strongly encouraged and required for all seniors. MSM is a member of the AAA and offers a variety of competitive sports. MSM also has a strong choral and drama program and try-outs are available to participate in the Catholic High School Band. Each grade level has an average of 150 students with 25 per classroom. Parkview High School: Parkview is Arkansas' first and only complete interdistrict magnet high school with students from all three local districts. Students may enroll in the Fine Arts Magnet Program or the Science Magnet Program. Enrollment 9-12 is approximately 1135 students. The schedule of classes includes pre-AP/gifted classes and 26 AP classes. Parkview will provide expanded and specialized studies in the fine arts and sciences in addition to rigorous curriculum. Pulaski Academy: This private school is not affiliated with any religious organization. P.A. offers a strong curriculum with honor and Advanced Placement classes. Enrollment averages about 100 students per grade level with individual classes about 20 per class. PA is a member of AAA offering baseball, soccer, football, basketball, softball, tennis, bowling, cross country, track, cheerleading and dance team. PA also offers a band, choral and drama program. A total of 60 community service hours are required by the end of the senior year. There is an entrance exam and interview process for all new students. Financial assistance is available. ECS: Shadow Days on Monday, Thursday and Friday’s only.

All other schools just require a weeks notice prior to your desired date.
