S2 mode (short-term operation)

5th Prior to commissioning

5.5 Fill in oil
Remove the engine cover (Fig.6a-
6b/Pos.5) using the screwdriver. Open the oil filler plug (Fig. 8 / Item F) and fill about 0.25 liters of engine oil (15W40) with the enclosed oil-filling container (Fig. 3 / item 21) to the upper mark on the dipstick (Fig. 7 / Pos.D) one.
Attention! Prior to starting up the engine oil and fuel must be filled.

6.1 Engine Start

6.4 Overload Protection

12V connection:
When overloaded, the 12V connector (Fig.
2/Pos. 12) shut down. Pressing the overload switch (Fig. 2/Pos. 11), the 12V connector are put back into service.
Attention! Faulty circuit breaker must be replaced with the same performance only by identical circuit breaker. To do that, your customer service.
6.5 Motor Stop

7.1 Cleaning
Keep safety devices, air vents and the motor housing as dust-and dirt-free as possible. Rub the product with a clean cloth or blow it out with compressed air at low pressure.

7.2 Oil change, oil level check (before each

Do not mix other substances such as e.g. Antifreeze or transmission fluid with used oil. Keep it out of reach of children and sources of ignition on.
7.3 oil shut
With too little oil engine, the engine will not start.
With too little engine oil during operation of the oil warning lights (Fig. 2 / item 15) in red and the engine dies. At complete engine stoppage, the red oil warning light goes off.

7.4 Air Filter
Clean air filters regularly, replace if necessary. Please also refer to the service information.

Clean the filter element by tapping. If heavily soiled wash with soapy water, then rinse with clear water and dry before refitting it to air dry. Attention! To clean the filter element does not use aggressive cleaners or gasoline.
Reassemble in reverse
Order
7.5 spark plug
Check the spark plug regularly for contamination. Please also refer to the service information.
Remove the spark plug cover (Fig. 12a-
12b/Pos. 6).
Pull the spark plug (Fig. 12c / Pos I) from a rotary motion.
Remove the spark plug (Fig. 12c / Pos J)
with the included spark plug wrench.
Clean the spark plug with a
Copper wire brush or install a new one.
Reassemble in reverse
Order.
7.6 Storage
First Empty the fuel tank with a
Benzinsaugpumpe.
Attention! Remove the fuel in enclosed spaces in the vicinity of fire or while smoking. Gas vapors can cause explosions or fire.
Second Start up the engine and allow the motor to continue until the remaining fuel is consumed.
Third Allow it to cool down.
4th Remove the spark plug and fill approximately
20 ml of engine oil into the cylinder.
5th Pull the starter rope slowly several times around the inner parts to be coated with oil.
6th Screw it back on.
7th Store the unit in a well ventilated, safe place.
7.7 Transport
First Wait until the unit has cooled.
Second Set the tank vent to "OFF" (Fig. 4 / Pos B).
Attention! Even with a closed tank ventilation, the device may only be transported in an upright position.
