JTY-801-by-Star with world advanced technology: QPSK demodulator and MPEG-Ⅱ decoder in full compliance with the DVB-S standards, with newest integrated circuit and TFT, TFD, liquid crystal display technology production; machines Targeting a high-performance, high-capacity lithium-polymer battery, JTY-801 is a collection of satellite television signal reception, high resolution LCD display and with DC power supply directly one of the high-tech electronic products. With aluminum metal, can be carried and used outdoors. It is the absolutely necessarily for engineers during their installation of the satellite television reception systems.
To ensure the best use of unit, and long-term normal use, please read this handbook carefully beforehand.
NOTES:
■ There is no user-adjustable components, Do not remove the rear panel of this product, only qualified technical personnel are permitted to perform maintenance.
■ Do not let the child within put anything into the unit, to avoid damage to machinery.
■ Don’t expose this product to directly sunlight, heat or humid conditions.
■ Keep away from strong light while using this product so as to obtain the clearest and the most colorful picture and normal long-term use.

3. operation instruction
3.1,power supply
Built-in battery pack power supply: Internal 7.4 V 4000mAh high-performance lithium polymer battery. Turn on power switch, the battery auto supply, the battery can work more than 3 hours outdoor. An external power adaptor: Please use power adaptor we supply, connect the power DC8.5V at the rear panel to charge.
Charge for Built-in rechargeable battery pack: The battery with intelligent protection circuit to avoid the damage by over-recharge/over-discharge or short-circuit. Please recharge the battery with the attached power adaptor, when the power light constantly blinking. (Suggestion: to charge the battery over 8-10 hours before use the unit. The battery can achieve best function after recharge /discharge 2-3 times. ) .
3.2, receive satellite television signals
Satellite TV signal parameters can be adjusted through the 6 buttons on left side of the front panel or remote control
Start: turn the power in the state “-“,the lcd display will show the information and the tv signals.
If, in the first use of Po-Star, will be the default player in the pre-satellite-the first channel.
The following use of Po-Star, the unit will keep the channel displaying last time before we turn it off.
Standby: press the standby button in the “on” mode, this unit in the state of temporary shutdown.
Press the “Standby” when the unit in “standby” mode, can “wake up” Po-Star, and continue to play same channel
Turn off the power delete standby mode.
FAQ: We turn on the TV, and not in “standby” mode, but show nothing but “no signal”, » This shows your current receiver without signal, this may be caused by the following reasons:
■ The channel you choose now is not the position of your antenna, you simplest/best solution is change other channel.
■ The channel you choose with weak signal, then turn to other channel to search stronger signal, if still does not solve the problem, please contact the dealer of the receiver or technician.
■ if the TV tuner you use with double- vibrancy-frequency , you need to modify the local frequency.
Confirm: press this key (not for the confirmation of operation) to show the list of TV program and the small window, can find/browse/watch programs have been kept quickly. choose P +10 for page down; By P-10 programs with page up.
Volume: during full-screen displaying, can adjust sound volume by the key.
Number key: during full-screen displaying , you can set/fix the appropriate channel with numbers you want, press “confirm” to enter the channel number you have fixed.
Mute: press this key, sound disappeared. Repeat Mute key, restore the sound.
Pause: Press this key, the picture will stop, but sound is continue; repress the Pause key, will play the channel you just watching.
Exchange: press the key, can enter the channel you latest play quickly.
Tune: during full-screen mode, press the button, can open the right side of the screen as shown in Figure 5 channel mode and channel adjustment window.

You can use the program ▲, ▼ keys to move up or down, choose the volume key to adjust.
Audio PID just only for show, could not be revised.
Message: in full-screen display mode, press the button, to check information of current channel you are watching now.
TV / Radio: you choose what you want:the TV or broadcast by this button. List of programs: in full-screen mode, press the button “confirm” enter into list of programs(please check specific programs below the list),
In the mode of list of programs, press “confirm” again then enter into the full-screen displaying mode.
9 screens windows: in full-screen mode, press “9 screen window”, enter into 9 screen window mode, please check in Figure 6.
■ in nine windows mode, can browse 9 programs in static state from the current channel ,and program which the cursor on is continued.
■ You can use the program ▲, ▼, volume, ▲, ▼, in various small window between the cursor movement, the cursor to the Figure 6
window where the normal showing. ■ When the cursor is on the progr am you want, press “confirm” then enter into the full-screen display.
P + / P-: after setting up appropriate channel program, presses ”P + / P-“ directly to choose your favorite programs.
3.3 Adjust image parameters
With the five buttons on the left front panel to adjust image. Press "SETUP" enter the menu in Figure 7:
Brightness: adjust the black-level of images to what you want.
Contrast: adjust the degree of discrepancy of the image

Color Tone: adjust level and the color tone (the picture reddish or green)
Color aberration: adjust imbalances in the color images.
OSD: adjust time which show menu on the screen
Language: choose the following language from menu you want: Chinese, English, Russian, Portuguese, Italian, French, Spaish, German. Choose the items need to adjust by "▲" / "▼" , the selected option in red background, adjust by "" to meet your request, then press "MENU" button to confirm .
4, adjust satellite signal
4.1 antenna’s azimuth and elevation
If you do not know the azimuth and elevation satellite to receive, please check the guidance software of this unit, to calculate antenna azimuth and elevation. Please refer to specific operational guidance 5.17.
4.2, to capture satellite signals
On the front panel of the “MENU” button menu and select channel information, the screen shows in Figure 8, you can also press “message” button from remote control into this menu. In Figure 8 Signal quality, the digital displays have been receiving the satellite signal to the decibel value, with PXX show. It Figure 8
can be read in strong light
conditions or adjust with removed.
4.3 fine adjustments
Adjust the antenna to make the signal quality >35% , this unit can receive the TV program, and then fine adjust the height of TV Tuner, to reach the best focal length; go ahead the fine adjust the antenna’s azimuth continue to get the best signal quality
5, the main menu operation:
5.1 main menu
When you press the menu button you can see the screen in Figure 9 in the menu:
■ the program ▲, ▼ key programs, in various menu items from top to bottom in the cycle of moving the cursor.

■ press “confirm” button enter the corresponding entries from the operation of television programs.
5.2, TV program list
When you enter the submenu of TV list, will see the screen in Figure 10 (that is, the above-mentioned in full screen mode press “confirm” button, enter into the TV program list:
■ the program ▲, programs ▼ key to move the cursor from top to bottom, and can preview small window on the right players in the Figure 10
current cursor of the channel programs.
■ with volume, volume key in the list of programs to achieve page up/down function.
■ press confirm/menus/Esc button, enter full-screen mode.
5.3, Radio:
Operation list of radio and TV programs list basically the same, the only difference is that the right of the preview window, there will be no video images appear, and always show start-up screen.
FAQ: I accidentally deleted all the channels, how to do?
There are two solutions: ■ re-search the channel on the increase program
■ to the system set up, using the default settings to restore function.
5.4, set up the program
enter the menu set up program, can show the image in Figure 11:
■ the program ▲, ▼ key programs, can move the cursor.
■ press confirmation button, can choose items to operate.
5.5, increased program:
