The 01 Single Line System operates by distributing the output of a pump over a number of Meter Units.

This system provides a simple and very cost effective method of oil lubrication on small machine applications such as: wood-working machines, shoe making machines, small machine tools, printing machines

Single Line System basic concept

The 01 System consists of meter units (calibrated 'orifices') that balance the distribution line pressure and divide the oil from the pump proportionally across the meter units.

A Smile pump with an "01 System" represents one of the lowest priced entry level centralized lubrication systems on the market today whilst maintaining high reliability and appearance.

Meter Units

The Meter Units can be intermittent or continuous lubrication. Used to partition the oil between the lubrication points.

Intermittent Meter Units contain a check valve to prevent back flow.

The vast range amply covers all practical requirements.

Meter Units may be fitted either directly to the bearing or grouped in Juctions

For use on high precision mechanisms, or fo hidh speed rotating bearings where it is necessary to mantain a continuous film.

Availabe for flow rates of a few mm³/hour up to very high flow.

Suitable for use with pure mineral oil with a maximum viscosity of 1500 cSt (6942 SUS) at the working pressure

Cylindrical Meter Units for Continuous Lubrication

Cylindrical Meter Unit features

For use on mechanisms that work intermittently, or lightly loaded.

Pressure from 1 to 10 bar (from 14.7 to 147 psi).

Suitable for use with pure mineral oil with a maximum viscosity of 1000 cSt at 40 °C (4628 SUS at 104 °F).

 Dual Line System

Simple and reliable particularly in harsh environmental

Lubrication systems engineered with the Dual Line system are generally used on large scale machinery and in harsh operating conditions to lubricate multiple points on large machines. The system can grow to a very complex one with a length that often can exceed 60 meters. The large section of pump packages together with many custom design options allows any lubrication system to be developed reliably and cost-effectively.

Dual-Line System basic concept

The Dual Line distributor valves can be installed next to the lubrication point avoiding the need for complex pipework.

 

In Dual Line system exist two main lines both of them actuated alternately by means of a changeover valve.

A lubrication cycle is completed when both main lines have to be alternately pressurised and be relieved of pressure.

The system is a parallel type and each dual-line valves operates independently of any other in the system, therefore, in the event of one lubrication point becoming blocked or failing, the remainder of the system is not affected and continues working without problems.

This System consists of the latest direct positive displacement injector technology developed by Dropsa.

 

Used in a large range of application, total loss oil lubrication involves creating a thin oil-film between moving parts which is renewed at regular intervals by an automated lubrication system.

This technology provides precise and fail-safe dosage of oil independent of viscosity, temperature or pressure.

Additionally, the new cartridge format allows substantial new application possibilities. Also it is entirely produced, assembled and tested on an automated production line offering unprecedented value for money and quality.

When combined with a competitive pump package, such as the electrically driven Smart Pump, high performance system can be obtained at good prices.

Our push-lock system allows further reduction in installation cost.

Serial 26 Progressive System

High assurance of lubricating system operation and monitoring

The Serial 26 progressive feeder is the key part to the system allowing the metered dispensing of grease under pressure to each point in the lubrication system. The modular system of progressive distributor offers flexibility advantages for system design engineers and low cost maintenance advantages.

Serial 26 Progressive system is used mainly for grease lubrication in total loss or re-circulating oil systems. High Pressures and long pipe runs are common requirements as operating or environmental demanding conditions. Serial 26 can be used also as zoned system when irregular cycle conditions for different parts of the machine are requested.

The design parameters of a progressive systems include many variables such as volume and frequency of grease required at each point, number of points, operating conditions, pump pressure, etc. DropsA skilled engineers are available to design large scale project and provide installation, commissioning, support and training anywhere in the world.

The SMART2 range oil lubrication pumps provides innovative pump packages for the machine Tool Industry.

NEW GENERATION CONTROLLER

The integrated next generation control system is a central to delivering these new solutions to the customer.

It allows five different ways to trigger and control the lubrication event in a system:

1. Time based interval: 0 min - 99 hours

2. Impulse Counter: 1 - 9999 cycles

3. Combined Trigger: both Timer and impulse counter

4. Impulse Driven: uses impulse input to determine both standby and operation mode (0-9999 impulses)

5. Remote Only: Acts as Slave to host machine.

989 pump series is ideal for applications where space and costs are key factors. The pump is perfectly integrated with the 999 pump series from which it inherits the main features like: modularity, quality and performance. For these reasons Series 989 represents the perfect solution for an extensive range of midsize applications.

STANDARD EQUIPMENT

The standard version is ready equipped to satisfy the requirements in small-medium machine tools applications. The standard version of the pump is complete with refilling filter, electric minimum level, a pumping unit with 6 mm or 8 mm diameter.

FIT YOUR APPLICATION NEEDS

989 pump series can fit the changing needs of your application. The availability of installing up to two pumping unit (with fixed or adjustable delivery) gives you two options: to triple the standard flow or connect three lubrication lines directly to the pump.

Fixed or adjustable delivery are available. The adjustable delivery is: 1,4 - 10 cm3/min for 6mm diameter pump element and 2,5 - 17 cm3/min for the 8mm diameter.

DUAL PUMPING MODULE

400cm3 (2x200cm3) pump modules installed in tandem configuration provide 400bar (5880 psi) and redundancy .

This allows the system to continue working even if one pump module becomes ineffective.

Sumo pump is suitable for large single line or dual line systems.

INSTRUMENTATION MODULES

Sophisticated add on instrumentation modules and options means even complex requirements can be met with off-the-shelf standard product.

QUICK SWAP SYSTEM

Both pumping modules can be quickly replaced from the front mounting of the pump. No pipe work needs to be disrupted meaning near-zero downtime during maintenance.

DUAL LINE OR SINGLE LINE IS EASY

The outlet plate fixing system has both Pressure and Return ports.

The outlets are directly compatible with Dropsa's electrical or pneumatic line inverters (including Modular version).

MLP is a piston pump driven by an eccentric cam which has been designed to operate with a maximum of three pumping elements.

The housing is a compact monobloc plastic element shaped to offer a full resistance to mechanical stresses.

A roller-shaped system and a grease-scraper enable to eliminate air bubbles from grease, thus ensuring an easy operation, also at low temperatures.

The worm-gear ratiomotor with helical wheel and DC low voltage, is directly started by the user or through the control timer setting.

The pump is available in three versions (12-24VDC e 110-220VAC), all provided with the magnetic sensor for the minimum level:

- no TIMER

- with TIMER PAUSE-WORK

- with TIMER PAUSE-SENSOR

The Dropsa 777000 series modular motorized pump is suitable for a wide range of applications. Once installed it is a simple operation to adjust the pressure and adjust lubricant output (using a flow control).

The modular construction of the pump assembly uses common components throughout the range and therefore reduces spares holding.

The double pump body has two outlets which can either be combined together for one outlet or feed to two independent systems. In the case of a Dual Line System the two pump outlets would operate an inverter.

Access to the pump is simple through the reservoir lid or through the covers surrounding the pump and reduction unit. Re-filling of the reservoir is recommended through the charging filter to eliminate any ingress of contaminates.

The frequency of operation can be monitored with Dropsa Control Panels or through the machines P.C.

The pump has a standard kit identical to the other version Plus hoses, quick copulings and shut-off valves.

The 242 series lubrication pumps are particularly suited to the heavy industrial sector, with its features of long life, safe and constant functioning and reduced maintenance being indispensable for ensuring a perfect and efficient lubrication of machinery working under heavy and demanding conditions, and in particular where continuous operating is required to ensure a high level of production.

By selecting from a range of perfectly compatible and easily assembled components it is possible to vary the pressure, the quantity of lubricant delivered, the type of lubricant or the type of distribution.

The complete machine, mounted on a base, can be considered a true central lubrication unit with its high performance permitting an extensive layout and a high number of lubrication points.

Specifications:

- Delivery flow rate: 400 gr. of grease/min with an air pressure of 10 bar

  

 

These powerful, robust and long lasting pumps, mounted on commercial drums, are used for transferring light greases, lubricants and other non-corrosive fluids or, fitted with a flexible hose and gun, for filling grease cups or small tanks in the industrial and automotive fields. 

Another interesting application of this type of pump is in the lubrication field where its capacity to deliver large quantities at a high working pressure renders it particularly suitable for feeding centralised progressive systems.

The pump is made up of a motor assembly with a synthetic rubber piston, particularly resistant to abrasion, moved from top to bottom (and vice-versa) by a compressed air jet, and a pump rod with a chromed piston, connected to the motor piston. 

The lubricant is primed on the upstroke of the piston filling the lower chamber of the pump rod or the priming chamber and from here, through a non-return valve, passes to the upper chamber (high pressure chamber).

In the successive downstroke phase, the piston forces this quantity of lubricant through the pump outlet and, simultaneously, refills the priming chamber so repeating the cycle.

The following accessories can be supplied on request:

Pressure disk - to be used when the pump is mounted directly on a commercial grease drum. This disk acts to maintain the grease compact and to avoid the formation of air bubbles in the feed line so prejudicing the the functioning of the system.

Lid - made for mounting this type of pump, substituting the original drum lid.

Suction filter - to be mounted on the pump dip tube as the lubricants supplied in commercial drums are not always free from impurities.

The versions for double lines are complete with a tank of 5 Kg/lt. In sheet steel, minimum level electrical contact, filling valve, hydraulic inverter and pressure gauge; these are suitable for the lubrication of small to medium sized machinery.
