Atlantic recording group Portugal. The Man has announced a new series of live dates, including a fall headline tour. The trek gets underway September 26th at Montreal’s Corona Theatre and then continues through late October (see attached itinerary). The schedule also includes a number of festivals and radio-sponsored events, including Austin’s ACL Music Festival (October 5th and 12th), Mexico City’s Corona Capital 2013 (October 13th), Kansas City, Missouri’s 96.5 The Buzz Halloweenie Roast 2013 (October 17th), and Las Vegas’ premiere Life Is Beautiful Festival (October 26th).

Portugal. The Man unveiled the new dates in an exclusive tour preview video, streaming now at their official YouTube channel, Portugalthemanband. Complete tour details and ticket information can always be found at tour-dates.

The upcoming itinerary celebrates Portugal. The Man’s acclaimed new album, “EVIL FRIENDS.” The collection – produced by five-time GRAMMY® Award winner Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley, The Black Keys, Sparklehorse) – is available now in stores and at all online retailers.

Portugal. The Man has introduced “EVIL FRIENDS” with a series of high profile TV performances, set to continue with a July 9th visit to TBS’ Conan (check local listings). The appearance comes hot on the heels of recent performances on NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!

“EVIL FRIENDS” has also seen Portugal. The Man making a number of new friends of their own, including actor Glenn Howerton and Rob McElhenney of FX’s It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, who shares an “Eternal High Five” with P.TM frontman John Gourley in a new film currently streaming at both the band’s official YouTube channel () as well as via , embed/6894852/its-always-sunny-handshake-lasts-an-eternity.

“Purple Yellow Red and Blue,” the first single from “EVIL FRIENDS,” has just begun its ascent up on MediaBase’s “Alternative” chart as well as Billboard’s “Modern Rock” rankings.

Portugal. The Man is now in the thick of a North American headline tour, set to continue through a July 18th homecoming concert at Portland, Oregon’s Crystal Ballroom (see attached itinerary). In addition, the band will appear at a number of upcoming summer festivals, including Manchester, Tennessee’s world famous Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, set for this Saturday, June 15th.

In other news, Portugal. The Man recently re-launched their “Evil Friends Photo App” for iOS devices, powered by Aviary Photo Editor. The app allows users to create their very own “Evil Friends” via 30 digital stickers hand drawn by Gourley, a visual artist as well as a musician/songwriter. P.TM are the first artists to team with Aviary, which reaches over 35 million active users across such applications as Twitter, Flickr, PicStich, and more.
