13 reasons why season 4 quick summary

Although Tyler took a bit of a back seat this season compared to the previous one, we see that his appointment with Estela has become a real relationship and that he will be assuming HO in the absence of Jessica. Alex and Charlie's romance also become strong, he arrives at the end of the series, even winning the crowns of the King of Prom. Tony and Caleb, who have enjoyed the firmest relationship of anyone, will be doing the long distance thing. That's a complicated question, and probably a single qualified psychologist can answer. No doubt, we're supposed to feel good about the mental state of our protagonist in the end, but it's hard to forget that he's been dissociating the whole season, as well as seeing the ghosts of all his dead friends. Then, he's also trying to bring a gun to a police station that, as far as weep to go help, is not the smartest thing. But he's in therapy, and he's gradually dealing with his long problems and his repressed pain on Jeff, Hannah and now Justin. What about the other characters? Despite Tony's best selfsabotage efforts throughout the season, 13 reasons why he ends up with him and clay driving quietly towards his new young adult life. And he wouldn't even have to sell his father's car store to do it "Caleb is now the owner, which means Tony can leave a life away from his past. Zach, meanwhile, manages to get out of his pity party, enough to say good-bye to Justin, get a job at school after a brilliant coach recommendation, and get into college. ANI will also, of course, take its impressive GPA to higher education, after reconciling with clay. Speaking of taking the hell out of town, we finally got to catch up with Ryan and Courtney, who've been disappearing since the second season. ResultThey already graduated and seem to be living the kind of fabulous lives of the post-prep school. Our current graduates can aspire to. Ryan also celebrates his return when he strikes immediatelyAny mention of Hannah? It is a question that has been in the mind of the fans since a fourth season was announced, "Will the program bring things to a complete circle for their final episodes, re-introducing Hannah Baker as the catalyst that began everything? Well, yes and no, since we only see it back away through one of Clay's classic "magic realism" episodes. Page 2 Sinise, better known for his role as Oscar-winning Lieutenant Dan in 1994 "Forrest Gump", recently appeared in the drama, SGT. Will Gardner, after having left CBS television shows Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and CSI: NY. He is also known for his philanthropic work for military veterans' charities, which includes performances with his Lieutenant Dan Band. Telegraphing the importance of Sinise's role at Season 4, the showrunner Brian Yorkey praises with a statement: "From the very first moment we conceived the role, I thought of Gary Sinise, but I just dared to dream that it could happen. ?Add, ?Consumed and human first-class actor, Gary brings the exact combination of hardness, intelligence and heart that the character needs. We are all delighted and honored that you join us in this fundamental role in our last season. 13 Reasons Why Season 4 Details While 13 Reasons Why "a televisive adaptation of Jay Asher's homonymous book" left its mark on the cement of the recent pop culture, in particular because of its controversial teen-suici. related content, the imminent end of the show is not surprising. After all, the second season saw the departure of star Katherine Langford, character, Hannah Baker, left posthumously a series of videos explaining the 13 reasons for her suicide. In fact, while the typical wasteful Netflix has had it for the first time since its meteoric By having to adjust your budget and cancel some shows, it could be considered that the object on which the title of the show was based does not seem to be an important part of your premise, limiting your useful life. Consequently, the third season saw the program go to a new theme, the mysterious death of the character Bryce Walker (Justin Prentice); a movement that led to the thematic series generating headlines in a gloomy surreal direction Riverdale style, culminating in a gloomy ending for the penultimate painting. Even though some characters have continued, graduated, died or have been killed, there are still a lot of characters to follow up on. This recapitulation of 13 reasons why season 4 will help the viewers keep abreast of all the intertted stories as the show comes to an end.Episode 1: "Winter Break"The series starts at a funeral "other funeral." We soon learned that this is independent of Monty or Bryce's, because it will take place within six months. A pastor talks about how things should change so that young people stop dying. Um. Yeah. Then the show goes back six months before Christmas, so about a month after season 3 events. Clay Jensen (Dylan Minnette) sleeps and wakes up with Justin Foley (Brandon Flynn) entering his shared room. "Put your clothes on, we have to go. Monty, he's still alive," says Justin. It is a surprising discovery since Monty was presumed dead in season 3, and then Clay and his girlfriend Ani Achola (Grace Saif) blamed Monty for the murder of Bryce. (Oh, Clay and Ani are still dating.) But it becomes evident that it isA dream When Clay and Justin visit Monty on the jerk ends with Monty attacking Clay and Clay awakening sweating. He has been having recurring nightmares, and he seems to be dealing with some PTSD of Possessing arrest for Bryce's murder and then covering up the crime by helping to mark Monty.Justin is still in a rehab facility after admitting last season that he needed help on his journey to recovery, and Clay hasn't opened up to him or anyone about him. his nightmares But Clay's parents are worried because his grades are sliding and has not prioritized the school. (A classic problem that kids in Riverdale also share, so don't feel so bad, clay.) Clay's off reveals that he only feels alive and like himself when he's helping his friends, so when Tyler Down (Devin Druid) calls He needs a ride, clay jumps into action. Turns out Tyler needs a trip to the sheriff's station, which can only mean trouble. Clay tells Jessica Davis (Alisha Boe) to keep planning Justin's welcome party while Clay takes care of Tyler. He waits in the car for Tyler who leaves and reveals that the police found Tyler's bag of guns and traced it. Clay and Tony (Christian Navarro) had helped Tyler hide the bag after Tyler decided not to go through a school shootout in Season 2. Clay Pencil that the cops are in Tyler, but Tyler tries to calm him down. He says he lied to the police about the bag he stole from him, and since they could only trace the bag, but not the guns to Tyler, they are safe. Clay doesn't seem so safe, and it just adds to your growing stress. He thinks if the cops can tie the guns to Tyler, then Tyler can ratify them to cover up Bryce's murder in exchange for saving himself. Justin's homestay party, the whole group of friends meets for the first time since the Monty frame. They have been busy with winter holidays and deal with the magnitude of their problems and staying away from each other. But not anymore. However, the mood is A little when Justin is suddenly broken with Jessica, citing the need to focus all his energy in his recovery. When they are alone, Clay asked if Justin spoke of Bryce while he is in jotin says yes, because it's part of the healing process, but that he only mentioned bryce's disappearance is not that they've covered up his murder. (obviously, clay.) at the police station, the sheriff diaz (benito mart?nez) notes that the tape of the interrogation of anni does not exist. There's only one written statement of everything he said. This is remarkable, because it was anni who turned the story that bryce was killed by monty. She and the father of alex standall (thousands heizer) assistant standall (mark pellegrino) worked together in the cover-up, because alex is the one who really contributed to bryce's death when he threw him off the dock and threw him into the lake and didn't help him get out before bryce drowned. Meanwhile, jess is trying to build a life-setting similar to clay and jotin have for her and ani. He invites ani to stay in his house as the mother and the brothers of jess are moving to seattle, but jess and his father stay until the end of the last year. originally, ani was moving to oakland with his mother, but his mother agrees to let him live with jess as long as he regularly visits and has a curfew (!). after straightening the ani capacity to stay on the program, er. at liberty, jess and ani are heading to the forest to destroy the confession tape that bryce left for jess in the third season. It is clear that she is trying to put it behind her, but she is obsessed by the image of him "literally." she sees bryce in the forest in a kind of flash induced by the TEPT. Upon returning to school after winter holidays, the building has been improved with metal detectors and school resource officers (sros) who play a similar role as police officers, but who only work inside a school building. is a strong response from school leaders to add them to the mix. When jess passes through the metal detector, his bra holds it.And the male sro tells him he'll need a pat. as a sexual assault survivor, the idea is provoking jess, jess,He refuses and goes to the director's office. It demands that director Bolan (Steven Weber) hire SRO women to give away. The director agrees and asks Jessica to be her eyes and ears "outside" in exchange for letting her say something about the new security measures. She's president of the student body, so she probably deserves some information about it. New alert of character! On the day of her career, we met Estela De La Cruz (Inde Navarrette), Monty's sister. She doesn't seem to be like her brother at all, and she asks Jess if she can join her H.O. anti-sexual assault club (Hands Off Our Bodies). Another new student also wanders around, but we've met him before: Winston Williams (Deaken Bluman) is Monty's alibi on the night of Bryce's murder. He used to go to Hillcrest, but he transferred schools to Liberty for the last semester. He says it's because he was expelled from Hillcrest, but Clay thinks he's there to investigate evidence, since he knows Monty is innocent. Clay is incredibly paranoid all the time, and this is just the beginning. In the meantime, Winston has reached a conversation with Tyler about joining the yearbook (most so Winston can have access to the old yearbooks and use them to get clues about who actually killed Monty). Nobody except Clay and Ani know the truth about Winston, so Tyler doesn't suspect anything. Clay notes that the football team has "De La Cruz" t-shirts to honor Monty, because they think he's innocent in Bryce's death. Clay loses it and starts hitting one of the football players. It's syringe because it's very unrealistic for Clay. Later, we see that he has returned to therapy with his former high school psychologist Dr. Ellman (Gary Sinise). They're working on Clay's intruder thoughts and frequent panic attacks that have increased lately. "When I lose control, it's not good," Clay leDr. Ellman. "He's ugly". That will be important to remember on the road. It is also important lightening that Clay seems to be jealous of connection with her parents, while a season ago she loved having a brother. That night, Clay has another dream vision in which he hears Bryce's confession tape (the one Jessica destroyed, which is how we know this isn't exactly true) and believes he sees shadowy figures far from his home. Clay may be pretending to be okay for everyone around him, he's much the opposite. A few details that will matter much later... The reason Bryce couldn't save himself when Alex pushed him into the water is because Zach Dempsey (Ross Butler) had hit him a lot earlier. Alex killed Bryce, but Jessica and Zach are also responsible. As a result, Zach has had a lot of drinking in season 4 and doesn't seem to care what happens to him. Tony's father was deported last season and is denied a visa in Season 4, Episode 1. Alex Zach kisses in a moment of sudden courage, but Zach rejects him gently. Tyler definitely lied to Clay: At one point, Sheriff D?az asked Alex's father, "This guy Tyler, do you really think he can help us?" Episode 2 Recap: "College Tour"This episode also starts with a flash towards the funeral six months from now, in an effort to keep fans wondering about the central mystery of who dies this season. The pastor talks about how people have not done enough to help save the lives of these children. You can say it again. Go back to the current story and Clay is filling out a college app in the middle of the night when he gets a FaceTime call from Monty. Confused, he rejects it. Monty calls again, and Clay turns him down again and blocks the number. Then Clay sees a shadowy figure in the room and follows her, knowing that it is not Justin. (Justin is asleep in bed.) The water is running in the bathroom when Clay enters, but the shadow is gone. Suddenly, it's morning, which means Clay jumped 3:00 a.m. At 7:00 am. While he thought the seconds had happened. The lack of dream that she has been receiving is playing with her mind. When students students At school, they see red graffiti painted on the doors. "Monty was framed", the lyrics shout. The group of friends is worried. If someone is investigating the truth, it is only a matter of time before someone finds out what they have done. When Clay finds a red smiling face painted inside his locker, he becomes convinced that the graffiti artist is trying to frame him. He says he doesn't trust most of the group of friends anymore. For SRO officer Ted Wynn (Matt Passmore) Tony in the hallway because he has red paint on his hands. Tony says it's only from his car store. Wynn notices that Tony is a boxer and seems excited about it. Students head for a tour of the local university. Zach wants to quit with Alex, who refuses. Zach seems completely baffled that the truth can come out, and this dangerously neglected attitude continues throughout the season. On the bus, Clay sees Winston and Tyler hanging and worries, as no one else knows what potential danger Winston might be. At that moment, a can of red spray paint runs down the bus aisle and lands at Clay's feet. He picks it up quickly and puts it in his backpack to get rid of it later in case someone is watching. Director Bolan will ask Clay later if he is responsible for the graffiti, because he has an anonymous tip about him. Clay denies being involved, saying it wouldn't make sense for him to have been involved. The director agrees. Once at the university, the tour group is divided into two. Clay told Alex to keep an eye on Tyler, and Alex told him the same thing about Zach. Zach almost immediately separates from the group to go to a college party. Clay's on. Soon they are playing drinking games and Clay gets intoxicated pretty quickly. He sees a young woman stumble down the stairs and follows her down the stairs. She seems worried when she realizes a guy comes up to her and takes away her It's Bryce (only it can't be, so this must be some kind of drunk flash.) Bryce tells Clay ClayThe unconscious girl, but Bryce is not really there, so the girl's boyfriend returns and finds clay standing there. Understandably, the boyfriend goes crazy and chases Clay below and grab it. Then it's Clay's turn go crazy as he screams, ? ~ ? ? Jame Go! "Again and again. Return on the tour, a single jess is angry because Justin is talking to the guide Female tourist. She accuses him of that, but he laughs. She then gets angry because Justin is not further scared by graffiti. "I'm sure it's going to be fine," Insists Justin. Jess says it's because Justin has no responsibility like her. Justin denies it, and says that he has a better perspective now that he is trying to improve. Stay so much, Alex does not long to keep an eye on Tyler, but I know a conversation with Winston. Soon Alex tells all the story of him to Winston, including his suicide attempt since the first season. Winston tells him that he is glad that Alex remains alive and makes a move to hold his hand. Alex backs, saying quickly that he is not gay, but his kiss in episode 1 with Zach indicates that Alex may be fighting to fully express his sexuality. Cut the campus police, where Clay's father (a teacher of the University) collects it and it looks very disappointed as it. Clay lost a meeting with the dean, but Justin attended. Clay says bitterly: ? ?At least my parents have a child with a future." And then Clay vomits about Justin. Once Clay is sober, Justin confesses that he feels that he is going to ruin everything in his life and become a drug addict again. He also feels bad taking the money from Clay's parents as they should use it to send Clay to college. Clay complains that he has not even introduced anywhere anyway, and rejects Justin's offer to help. At the next day at school, Clay sees that Winston and Alex are also coming out, exacerbating the Clay's. The director calls Clay to his office to talk about his mischief on the tour. Clay can only can can in the pictures of the graffiti on Bolan's desk. There's a kind of signature, a letter V with an arrow through it, which Clay seems to recognize but can't locate. It is worth noting that when Clay went to take the can of paint out of his bag after the class trip, he found two cans. His fear that someone is framing him is probably ten times greater.Alex and Tony are spending time at Tony Caleb's (RJ Brown) boyfriend's gym. Tony is training for a fight, because he believes that boxing is his only option after his parents were deported. Alex starts asking questions about Tony's sexuality, probably in an attempt to answer some of his.In therapy, Clay recounts the events of the party where he was standing over the girl in the room. He's scared because all he thought at the time was sex, not that she was unconscious or anything else. If the scene of him standing over an unconscious woman was not annoying enough, this confession is a clear sign that something is very wrong with this boy. Clay says he just wants to get better.Meanwhile, Ani notices that Estela had access to red paint in the room of the HO club, invites her to have a coffee to see if maybe she was the one who wrote the graffiti. After all, she's Monty's sister. But in the cafe, Estela says she's not there to defend her brother. However, she cannot understand why he would have killed Bryce. So she didn't do the painting work, but she's starting to reconstruct the holes of history as well...When Clay returns home from school, Sheriff Diaz meets with his parents. Justin and Clay are worried, but Diaz says he's only there to inform parents about the school's new security measures. Clay has a panic attack despite everything. That night, as she watches her college application, things get even worse: Clay receives a message from the of Monty who says, "Monty was framed. You framed it" along with several images of Monty. Clay starts writing his college entrance essay straight into the online application as if he'd never heard of a doc eraser before sending the whole thing. The theme: "I got a murder."You'll want to remember this list of graffiti suspects:Estela, because she's Monty's sister and doesn't understand why she would kill Bryce.Clay, because she had a smiling face in her locker and a can of paint in her purse.Winston, as she knows in fact that Monty Zach, as she's drunk frequently.Tony, since she had a real painting. A few details that will matter much later...When Ani talks about his future with Jess and how they will soon be released from this nightmare school, Jess sees a picture of Bryce at the door. , which suggests that she, like many victims of sexual assault, will never really be free from her attacker.Zach will see ex-chloe of Bryce (Anne Winters), who also likes Zach. He's worried about him because he knows he's been drinking a lot. Zach collapses and starts crying about how everything is messed up. The guilt of Monty's teamwork is really affecting him.Episode 3 Recapitulation: " Valentine's Day"The school is preparing for Valentine's Day dance, because they are still high school students with high school activities when they are not incriminating people for murder. Whoever's got Monty's phone, she just texted Clay to call him. "I see you at school," he said the voice sinisterly that morning. When Clay arrives, you see that there are cameras installed throughout the building, which increases Clay's paranoia. Then "Monty" calls again and informs Clay that if he never answers, "He will rain shit." Clay sees Winston on his own phone and suspects he's behind the calls, but the voice denies him. "Do you not recognize the phone number?" the mysterious one that calls a question. It's Monty's number, but it can't be Monty calling, can it? Okay. It has to be someone else. Whoever it is,They're sending Clay to the limit and he's got another panic attack on photography.room. He is so wrapped up in his fake Monty stuff that he also misses Ani's ridiculously open and obvious clues that she wants him, her boyfriend, to invite her, her girlfriend, to the dance. It's 2020 and, yes, Ani could have invited her boyfriend to the dance too, but Clay would probably have missed that too.Meanwhile, Alex suggests that he and Winston go see slasher movies on Valentine's Day, as he is not on vacation. Winston says he has to be at the prom for the yearbook, but he can go out tonight. Alex, who has been using Tyler as a shock absorber during their encounters, says that Tyler is not free that night. Winston reminds Alex that only the two of you can hang out. Winston clearly knows what's going on.Justin catches up with Zach to say that he, like Chloe, is worried about him. Even though Zach can't play on the soccer team after his knee injury of season 3, Justin invites him to come to the locker room to hang out anyway. In the cafeteria, Clay gets another call. The voice tells him to pick a fight and that in that fight, Clay can't defend himself. Clay, looking for the solution that causes him less trouble along the way, asks Zach to do him a favor and hit him. Zach refuses, so Clay goes for the low blow and makes fun of Zach for his injury. After being hit with a low blow at his lowest point by a person who is supposed to be his friend, Zach happily beats Clay. The voice on the phone tells Clay that he is impressed with his ability to follow instructions.Meanwhile, Tony asks Tyler why he keeps sneaking around at their meeting places, and Tyler (unconvinced) says he is busy with work and school. So Tyler's called to the office. Suspicious if Tyler has been telling the truth, Tony follows. But Officer Wynn stops him in the hallway. Apparently the officer has a league. Independent boxing and wants Tony to join. Once their conversation ends, Tony sees that Tyler is not meeting with the counselor as he had said, he is meeting the director. Tony's more suspicious now. That concern only grows when he tries to track Tyler in his job after school, only Tyler is not really there. And then Tyler says he can't help Tony DJ with the dance because he's busy. It's not like Tyler being gloomy or rejecting meeting places with Tony, so something has to be happening.Clay finally realizes that he dragged Ani that morning when she was talking about the dance, and he realizes and asks him to go. But then it gets distracted almost immediately when Monty's phone number sends a picture of Clay taken at that time in the library. Clay knows he's being watched and dials the number to see if he can locate the person. He hears a girl's phone ringing and almost attacks her until he realizes she's just talking to her mother. By witnessing his alteration, Ani forces Clay to tell him the truth, and he does. Ani tells him not to worry, there is no proof that Monty was innocent or that he was framed.Court to the football locker, where Jess is giving a speech about the importance of the football team giving a good example to the school with his behavior. None of them are listening, but a new character (for us) called Diego Torres (Jan Luis Castellanos) defends it. But as he tells the boys to listen to "the lady," she teaches her how that is not really so respectful either. Everyone acclaim the Jess resident badass. Still, it seems intrigued by Diego, especially since he's been quite alone since his breakup with Justin. Speaking of Justin, the football coach takes him under his wing and advises Justin of a meeting of Narcotics Anonymous that he has a younger crowd. When Justin finally goes to a meeting, he sees that the coach is also in NA.Alex and Winston hang out Sans-Tyler after all in a nice bowling out. They're having a great time and then Alex says he's going to go.Dance to keep Winston company while he works for the yearbook. So Alex kisses him, what we all knew was going to happen eventually. We Stan, Stan,Clay definitely wouldn't. Another phone call from "Monty" reveals that the mystery person has discovered that Clay told Ani about blackmail. The voice says they can prove Ani wasn't with Clay the night Bryce died. As Ani is Clay's alibi, that's a problem. But Clay seems so burned that he doesn't care. "Just do whatever you want," Clay says in defeated tone. The voice feels Clay's frustration and says Clay can have Monty's phone if he finds it. The tracks take Clay to the club room HO where he hears the sound of a phone, but it turns out to be just a disposable phone. "Monty" calls and tells Clay that he will get the real phone at the dance.Clay has a therapy session in which he doesn't mention that he's being harassed by someone who has a dead student's phone, which seems like something for what you could get help, but what I know. Instead, for some reason, Clay talks about not knowing if he believes in love. Clay, who has had bad experiences with love, says: "If you love someone, you will lose him." Yeah, they should definitely unpack that. But there is no time to unpack that huge problem of begging, because children need to wear their dance shoes and Clay has a phone to find. Tyler shows up at the dance to help Tony after all, but quickly leaves after receiving a phone call. Tony follows him and sees Tyler get in the car of Deputy Standall. Yeah, there's definitely something suspicious going on there. In the car, Standall says, "You still want to help us, don't you, Tyler?" Tyler says he has no choice. "You always have an option," says Standall. Meanwhile, Jess sees Diego at the dance and tells him he respects her. He also says they can hang out to make Justin jealous. Jess agrees with that idea. The news quickly spread that Diego and Jess are dancing together, and Justin, who was at a meeting, comes to theto confront her. "Why him?" Justin asks. Jess responds that she's justIt is heartbreaking. Through the dance floor, Clay tries to be at the moment with Ani and kissed her, but then the phone of her sounds. "Did you have fun with your girlfriend? She B? ? Room Once again before it's too late," says the voice. Ani tells him to stop answering calls, but Clay can not help it. The voice tells you to go to the costumes of the boys and he meets. Ani is still out of the gym but is distracted by seeing Alex and Winston coming out. Since she knows the truth about who is Winston, she may now she finally look for him to tell the group before someone else approaches himself with Winston. The showers in the locker room are stained with what is probably (expected) only red paint to look like blood. A knife sits on the floor. The voice takes Clay through an imagined version of the final moments of Monty by telephone. It is quite horrible. Clay grabs the knife and runs to the football field when the voice instructs him to go. When he arrives, he sees Monty alive, but bleeding. Clay tries to save it but it is useless. Clay begins to SOB like Bryce also appears to call Clay a monster. And then Clay's reality disappears to reveal the truth of the stage. Monty's body is actually a red painted mule to look like he is bleeding. Bryce is not there, but all the soccer team, led by Diego, is. They were making a joke about him and used a program that allows all members of the football team to call Clay from the number of Monty. See the severe clay reaction to what they thought was an almost harmless joke (it was harmless, however?) Confirms Diego's suspicions that Clay is hiding something. Clay flees from the scene and returns to the dance holding the knife and soaked in red paint that looks like blood. Ani takes a look and realizes that she is no longer interested in trying to take things out with Clay. "You have reason, I can not fix this," he says it moves away. Episode 4 Recap: "Senior Camping Trip" Other Flash forward for Funeral Shows Charlie Charlie In her Liberty Jersey, suggesting that maybe the person who dies can be on the football team. Parping back to the current timeline, Clay and Diego were suspended for two weeks after the dance events. Now they're meeting with Jess and the rest of the student body's leadership on whether they're still allowed to go to camp. Jess votes they shouldn't be, but the rest of the board approves. During the meeting, Clay Avisar to Jess and Diego are acting cokes and he does it quietly. In addition, every year on this camp trip, the football team apparently chooses a student to terrorize, so we should take bets now on it, or "Cut a therapy session with Dr. Ellman, who suggests that clay speak with a chaperone If you're worried about going to the camp trip. Clay laughs at the idea, saying that adults always overestimate how useful they can be adults. It's clear with every episode that happens that Clay is fighting more and more, and he tells Ellman that he feels anxious if he's alone or with other people. He says he feels anxiety all over his body and fears he's not strong enough. Ani and Jess's friendship is proven when Ani gets angry with the time to spend Jess's time with Diego after what he did for clay. Jess says Ani slept with Bryce, Jess's rapist. It's a low blow, but a real one, and both friends look upset they had to go there. ANI lacks the camp trip because her mother had a fall at work and she goes to Oakland to see her. Jess promises she can take care of both Diego and Clay. Then your phones are summing and soon everyone in that group of immediate friends receives a message. It's sent from Clay's account, but he swears it wasn't him who sent it. Urges friends to come clean, or the truth will be revealed in the "Compartir Senior" fire. Allscared by the message and comes from Clay's computer. Meanwhile, Justin wants to know why Clay doesn't talk aboutIt happened at the dance. Justin thinks Clay doesn't trust him anymore, and Clay doesn't deny it. Also, Clay's mom says she's going to be a chaperone on the trip, which is honestly probably a good thing. Jess tells Alex the obvious about how none of them can confess, especially since Alex's father is the other chaperone on the trip. Oh, Charlie has to go, too, even if he's not a senior. He is the captain of the football team, and promises to help keep things under control. Good luck, man. There's a creepy element to the journey thanks to the legend of Burnham Woods. Apparently a group of kids were "leaving in old times, like the '80s" (yes, Clay actually says this) and someone got drunk and fell and hit his head. His friends left him for dead, but he survived and killed all his traitors with an axe. Now chase the forest with that axe, of course. Once they're on the trip, Clay accuses Diego of hacking his email, and Diego seems genuinely confused ? suggesting that maybe he didn't send that ominous message. Clay also decides to insert himself into the relationship between Alex and Winston, which he has heard from Ani. Clay comes clean with Alex about who Winston is. "Winston can alibi Monty for the night of Bryce's murder", says Clay. "Do you know what I did?" Alex asks, referring to his role in Bryce's murder. Clay says no, but Winston's looking for answers. Alex is upset because he's only learning this now. When he sees Winston, Alex tells him that he will not be joking with him. "I can't do this anymore. We", says Alex. Winston wants to know what he did wrong, but Alex is leaving. Meanwhile, the ever-confident Tyler believes that Clay was actually hacked, and Tony wonders who would know how to do it, implying that Tyler has the skills to do it. Tyler is offended, but Tony points out that he met with Congressman Standall on the night of the ball. Tyler covers quickly with a About how dances are firing for him and from Standall Standall Why, she went to talk to him. The flame of the group, Jess and Diego are making each other. She mentions that she wants Diego to come out of the clay alone. He suggests he will, but viewers should be suspicious of possible empty promises with this guy. On the second day of the trip, Clay's mother and the deputy organise a treasure hunt. Everyone gives up their phones, takes their track sheet, and hits the woods with a companion. Justin and Clay are partnering up, and Justin says he doesn't think Clay wrote the email, but he's worried about what's going to happen on the trip and that clay may not be able to handle it. Clay accuses Justin of sending the email because he has access to Clay's computer. The clay gets up, muttering about how Justin is not the same person after rehabilitation. When he turns around, he realizes Justin is missing. Elsewhere in the woods, Jess and Alex are looking for clues. They think they heard the clay call, but Jess says Diego promised to leave him alone. She suggests she's leaving Diego just to keep him away from the truth. "I'm not dumb enough to let him get close to me", she says. He reaches a log to find the treasure that carried the clues, but he drags his hand when he realizes that the log is full of worms. Alex runs away in disgust. At the camp, Clay's mom finds the real clues in the trash can and realizes that someone turned them off. The children are chasing clues of an unknown prankster, not their chaperones. Finally something makes at least a little sense. Clay is looking for Justin in the woods and sees a wolf in front of him. Distracted, you don't notice when a group of people comes out behind and puts a bag over his head. Their hands are joined and they throw themselves into a hole. He passes by and then he has a dream that he's in a hospital with Monty. They talk about how the after what he did to monty. Monty mentions how he often acted of anger and fear and asks the clay if evertheir own emotions. Clay stops, and then asks what happened to Monty in jail. Meanwhile, Justin is alone in the woods with a knife and looking for worse wear. He spies on a soccer player's jacket through the trees and runs to face him. But it's just Charlie. Justin tells him that some of the football players attacked Justin when Clay left him behind. Elsewhere, Alex and Tyler cross each other after they both leave the treasure hunt. Tyler tries to defend Winston, having heard about his argument with Alex. But Alex tells Tyler who Winston is. "He's just our friend so he can find out who killed Bryce", says Alex, adding that he no longer knows who he can trust. He walks away from Tyler and sees Zach about to row on the lake on a boat. Join him. Zach is drinking, as he usually is in most of his scenes. Each complains of their respective unhappiness and Alex starts drinking with him. Screwed by alcohol, Alex gets up on the boat but falls on the board. As he sinks, he has a flash of Bryce coming to stop him, but Zach grabs him and rescues him. Many of these children seem to have PTSD from Bryce's death that everyone is seeing glimpses of him. Jess, Clay, and now Alex. Winston finds Tyler, who asks why Winston lied to him about Monty. Winston says he was trying to be nice, because he knows what Monty did to Tyler. Winston promises he only knew Monty a little. Tyler doesn't seem satisfied with this answer, and he leaves. The football guys are done with their joke about Clay now and they're going to let him out of their hole, but he's gone. They can't find one of their players either. In the woods, Jess hears Bryce's voice and then sees him standing there. "Why are you afraid of me? I'm dead", asks Bryce. "You should feel better." Then the bugs start to come out of her face in one of the most disturbing images of the series. It's hard to go through that. At camp, Alex told his father that he almost drowned, which makes him feel extra awful for causing Bryce to drown. "I can't keep wearing this", Alex says. Consider confessing that it was he alone who killed Bryce. But her father quickly closes that idea. He says Alex's friends helped him because they know he deserves his life. Your father promises you'll get over it. Only then do they hear a scream. Night has fallen and returned to the shed Diego, Jess, Charlie and Justin are there with the rest of the football team arguing who attacked them and where Clay is. They hear a rattling in the house and someone is scraping the sides with an axe. Only then, someone knocks on the door. This is Zach. The football team moved him around, clearly frightened. Zach says the others need to talk. He backs up to Clay and is still in the hole where the football team left him, but now all of a sudden he has his phone. He sees the same V-symbol and arrow carved into the rock as he saw in school graffiti. Around it are all the treasure bags that the students were supposed to find originally, and a rope that came out of the hole. He seems very confused. In the shed, more knocks on the door reveals that Tony has arrived. Now everyone's been told that Winston is Monty's alibi. Tony thinks Tyler sent the email, but Jess thinks it's Ani because she's not there and could have gotten to Clay's computer. They need to trust each other. The deputy is called Standall and tells them to return to the camp. In the campfire, Clay returns from the forests. He brings all treasure bags with him and then accuses Diego to leave him dead. Diego insists that the clay was not there when they went to check it. Then, Clay accuses Winston to work with the soccer team. Winston has no idea what he is talking about. Everyone feels around the campfire to answer the question of how weekend has changed them. Winston Sarcastically says he now knows the types of people who are these students. Clay says that he has not changed anything, that he and the friends of him are linked by life, even if they do not want to be. Alex opposes, and for a moment it seems that he could confess kill Bryce, but he only confesses to hate camping. Winston comes to the tent of Campa?a and says he knows that he was someone from the friend group who killed Bryce, just does not know how he still. It makes a snide comment on how Jess likes to get justice for people who have been wrong. Then Winston tells Estela that they are planning a memorial for Monty at the party. Zach comes to Alex and says he wants to hang up tomorrow night. Alex says he doesn't want to go to the party. But since Zach's mother put cameras in her room, Zach needs to say that he is with Alex to get out of the house and away from the cameras. Zach says they're going to the party. Speaking of cameras, that night, an unknown student enters the school and breaks the cameras surrounding the hallways. SRO Wynn is talking to Sheriff Diaz about the boxing game that weekend. Justin says he's not coming to the party, that he's smart since he's trying to stay sober. At a therapy session, Clay says he doesn't know how his drug test turned positive for the weed. The therapist asks what secrets Clay keeps. You know, just a hundred. At the party, students are playing a game called Paranoia where they have to guess each other's secrets. (Clay would love this one.) Winston guesses that people assume that Jess is happy that Bryce is dead but that Jess' life would be less complicated if he were alive. She takes a chance, indicating that she was right. Justin shows up to the party after all and sees Clay smoking pot. Since he tested positive and his parents think he's lying, Clay believes that smoke. Justin's upset, because he doesn't want Clay's parents. He ran when he did not do it. Clay, cutting, says that his parents never trusted Justin and, that's why they tested him in the first place. We just follow the record to say that we hate season 4 clay? Cold. But Tony's boyfriend, Caleb, is there, and tells Wynn that Tony has an uppercut that can beat the fight. Wynn tells Tony to use it. Tony sees the Sheriff D?AZ in the crowd. Then Tony apparently dissociated a little and he sees himself as the opponent of him. Then, when he hit the opponent of him, he is really knocking down. There is a lot to unpack there. D?AZ then offers Tyler a trip home, but Tony goes off on the right at the party, Alex is watching a movie and hiding from the crowd. Charlie joins him and gives him a biscuit of weeds. It is not explicitly indicated, but it seems involved that it is how the clay tried positive. He must have eaten one of Charlie's special cookies on camping trip. Clay finds Zach playing piano at the party and apologizes for not telling everyone about Winston. Zach really seems to care, but he gives clay advice to recover Ani. At home on his bed, Clay sees the V with an arrow through her symbol on her roof. The next day, Jess is in the university interview of him. The recruiter tells her that she is resistant. Jess responds with one of the best lines of the series. "Is not the resilience a way to say that we should deal with things instead of trying to change them? What is the real change?" She asks her. That feeling could not be more relevant for our current moment. Anyway, he returns to Jess. She is talking about her friends and how you made decisions that you could never recover and how that led to "a terrible and painful change". The recruiter makes a blatant declaration on how the change is not easy. Jess is laughing, because of course the change is not easy. Alex's father takes Justin from class to tell him that his mother died of a presumed overdose. He offers to take Justin home, but Justin wants to stay for the university interview of him. Attony comes to Clay's house to tell him the trap, thinks the police are fit for Tyler. Clay says he's not in any way to help other people right now, but his attempt to defend his own healing moves away from Tony. He says this is not like Clay to reject a needy friend. Meanwhile, in Justin's interview, he tells the recruiter about some of his personal challenges, namely, to be addicted to heroin and to have sex with men for money. (The latter will be important in the future.) The recruiter tells Justin that he has shown a strength to overcome his struggles. Justin thinks he just got lucky, while his mother never got lucky. "Nobody gave him a fucking chance," Justin's sorry. The recruiter ignores the obvious personal pain Justin is going to tell him that everyone in school is so inspired in his story. A little while ago to make him feel better.Charlie, who has ignored Alex's attempts to keep him away, finds Alex again. He tells him that Alex is breaking his heart. Alex wants to know why Charlie even likes it. "What you're saying is that I'm dumb to like you, you're like asking my taste," says Charlie, offended. Alex says he's upset about how confident Charlie is, because Alex doesn't feel confident at all.He moves away, leaving Charlie behind. It is the time of the interview of the University of Clay. He is quite honest with his recruiter. He says that his friends are the most important. Important. In your life and he will try to help you no matter what. A college boxing coach from the University of Nevada comes to Tony after the fight to offer him a scholarship. But Tony tells him he has responsibilities here and he can't go to Nevada. The coach tells him that the offer lasts 30 days and to think about it. Jess finds Justin in the alley, where it seems that he is drugged or has done drugs or is thinking about getting drugs. He was also fired from his job. "I saw you with Diego today, you really like him", says Justin, obviously hurt. Jess doesn't deny this. Justin

says it's better for Jess to be with Diego anyway instead of waiting for Justin at OD. It is Jess' turn to be hurt, as she promises to be always there for Justin and tells him to leave. He also suggests that they come together to the group, but Jess says that everyone is too angry with her to listen to., In the last thing Justin needs, Diego comes to tell him about Jess. He says she listened to Bryce's tape and believes that she is protecting Justin because Justin killed Bryce. Justin tells him that he does not know what he is talking about, but that he should keep his mouth closed. Diego says that he is going to get the truth and that he will give a beating Justin if he has to do it. The two begin to fight in the hall of the school and one of the sro comes to break it. She turns around and comes out with clay and many other students who follow. Zach says he's not walking, because when did he accomplish anything? "Historically, he has achieved things", points out Alex wisely. Zach says that Jessica can make enough noise on her own, and Alex tells her that he is tired of Zach being an idiot all the time. Zach asks Alex if he's tired of being afraid. Alex says yes, so Zach says they should make their own noise. Zach and Alex start breaking windows in the building. Zach says his life is over, but Alex says he has a lot left, even if he can't play football. (Zach injured his knee in season 3, which ended his football career). The cops arrive and Zach and Alex run around the school and the barricade in the dean's office. Zach starts destroying the place, but stops when he realizes that his file is sitting on the dean's desk. He opens it and takes a letter from your file, wrinkling it. . Am I going to be there or do something? At that moment, ANI leaves school with the HO Megaphone. She hands it over to Jess and starts leading a chant: "Hey, Hey, Ho Ho, Sros has to go." Soon the whole school is chanting the words as they start marching. Jess demands the removal of SROS and security measures. Clay does not add more simulations. "We want to go back to our school", says Jess. The principal says the measures are designed to help keep the students safe, but Jess says the measures are bad and Clay urges them to do something. They do, it's okay. They call the incoming officers. Complete riot gear. Officers tell them to leave in two minutes. Clay's worried about having guns, but Jess says they've been trained for a moment like this. Meanwhile, Tony's trying to leave. With all the officers at the scene, he's nervous. He's got a record and he can't be arrested. The cop in charge says his time is over and tells his officers to proceed. The men adorned with the riot begin to walk forward, and Jess says, "Now! All students begin to throw objects to the officers. When students get away from things to throw, they start fighting physically against officers.
