EXPERIENCE

GO SHOP HEALTH, LLC Rochester Hills, MI 2006-Present

Owner

Created an online health and life insurance agency, appointed with approximately 25 carriers and licensed to sell in 20 states. For over 5 years Go Shop Health has interviewed, hired and trained agents to sell health insurance through a sales platform that works as a contact management, auto-dialer, web-conferencing, lead distribution, online quoting and application system all from home. Responsibilities include the training of newly licensed agents, distribution of insurance leads to the agents, web-site development and search engine optimization.

Key components of Go Shop Health’s sales platform:

• Training new licensed agents: All appointed agents through Go Shop Health have been trained to consult with clients and deliver the best solutions to their health or life insurance needs. Training consists of policy solutions, qualifying prospects, objection handling, field underwriting, selling over the phone, time management, web-conferencing, e-application, contact management system and closing the sale.

• Lead distribution: A key component in the success of Go Shop Health is the lead analysis. All leads that are distributed to the agents are purchased from areas of the country based on income levels of the prospect, competitiveness of the carriers we represent and exclusivity of the lead. Agents with higher conversion receive a better quality or quantity of lead. Go Shop Health’s lead distribution consists of shared, exclusive, optimized and live transfer leads.

• Strategic Planning: Healthcare reform has created the opportunity for Go Shop Health to expand and form a Medicare division. Our Medicare team represents Medicare supplement, Medicare advantage, prescription drug plans, final expense and long term care.

Accomplishments:

• Developed an online selling system with a lead distribution that has produced an average of 100 policies per week from a team of 15 agents consistently over a two year period.

• Go Shop Health has a sales platform that allows agents a 10-15 percent closing ratio on leads versus industry standard of 2 -5 percent.

• Producing agent within my own company, I believe in always leading by example.

• Established solid, positive, and productive work environment by understanding the role and the needs of all team members.

• Development and implementation of corporate website and image strategies including the development of the corporate look and feel.
