2019 CAR CRUISE-IN JUNE WINNERS...

Congratulations to Eva Balzer of Owatonna - the Owatonna Eagles #1791 Summer Car Cruise-In People's Choice Winner for June 6, 2019!!

Eva took home this week's trophy with her 1965 Volkswagen Berry Mini-T! This unique vehicle features a 1776 engine and can reach speeds of 70-80 mph. It has a 1965 VW bug floor pan that was cut in half and shortened and then put back together for a fiberglass body. Originally manufactured by the Mini Berry T Company out of Long Beach, California, this vehicle is no longer in production. Eva's 1965 Volkswagen Berry Mini-T still has the original windshield!

Congratulations to Jim Mladek of Montgomery, MN- the Owatonna Eagles #1791 Summer Car Cruise-In People's Choice Winner for June 13, 2019!!

Jim took home this week's trophy with his 1955 Chevy BelAir Nomad. Interesting facts about this week's winning entry: There were fewer than 9,000 Nomads built in 1955. This model was the first year with the small block V-8. The original small block was a 265 cubic inch engine. The body was built at the GM facility in Cleveland Ohio and shipped to Flint Michigan for final assembly. This car features the original 265 V-8 with a 2bbl carburetor developing 160 horsepower!! It sports a "Three on the Tree" manual transmission with the shifter located on the steering column and is painted with the original Cashmere Blue and India Ivory paint. The interior was restored with the original dark blue and beige vinyl.

We were rained out on June 20 & 27th, so no weekly winner. Come join us July 11 and see

the incredible cars for yourself!
