Login - Webs

1. Login:

1. For login check first that the CPE is powered on.

2. Ensure the administrator’s PC IP address is in the same network segment as the device address .Eg- the PC’s IP address is 192.168.0.X as the device IP address is 192.168.0.10 by default.

3. Then type the link in the URL for login into the CPE and hit ENTER and then the following window will pop up

Now click on the WIMAX and set the Frequency Band that allow you to use several frequency

Select the FFT size as 512 and fill the frequencies in the frequency as we are using following 3 frequencies:

• 2640000 KHZ

• 2645000 KHZ

• 2650000 KHZ

And click on the ADD ENTRY.

After all above steps restart your CPE for all the above settings to take effect

STATUS:

Status page displays the current status of the subscriber station (SS) This include the hardware version, firmware version and system time.

[pic]

WAN page shows the WAN IP which is provided to CPE by DHCP server.

[pic]

LAN page shows the current configuration of LAN interface of SS.

[pic]

The WiMAX page displays the:

• Operational Status of the SS.

• Radio signal strength

• Frequency range and current frequency as well as

• The BSID of the Base station the CPE is latched into.

[pic]

The forwarding status page displays the current packet statistics of the Subscriber station as well as uplink and downlink throughput.

LOGOUT:

[pic]

Now logout the CPE as the configuration is done and SS entered the network.

Bridge Mode configuration

1. Working mode:

Set the working mode as Bridge.

Connection Setup:

The management IP allows the administrator to login to the CPE for remote management and configuration purpose. The user must set a static IP and a default gateway.

COMMON ISSUES

Following are the common issues because of which some time we face problem in login to the CPE or connect to internet

➢ Very firstly check the CPE is powered on and connected properly.

➢ The power LED is green and NOT blinking.

➢ And after connecting the LAN cable the second LED is also glowing continuously

➢ Connect the LAN cable at one end in power adapter’s DATA OUT port to other end in POWER +DATA port in the CPE.

➢ Use other cable and connect it from power adapter’s DATA IN port and other end to your PC.

➢ Check the signal strength also with the help of the signal strength indicator LED on the adapter.

➢ Why can not able to login to CPE for configuration?

For the configuration you need to set your PCs IP in the same network segment as of the device .example: Set a static IP as 192.168.0.X as the CP’s IP is 192.168.0.10 by default.

[pic]

Then Launch the internet browser to open the following link to login into CPE and do the configuration as described above carefully.

➢ Some times the CPE show connected but not able to browse the internet?

For this you need to set the IP to automatic so that the DHCP server provide the dynamic IP for the PC

And also check whether the DHCP is enabled or not.
