EN 1 Connect the stand with the bracket holes facing up. 2 Place the device vertically on a smooth level surface.

EN 3 Use the blue Ethernet cable to connect the WAN port to a xDSL/Cable/Fiber modem. 4 Connect a computer to the LAN port using the Ethernet cable (optional). 5 Connect the power cable to the EMG2881-T20A and press the power button. 6 Check the LEDs.

Step 3 WiFi Connection

EN 1 Press the WPS button until the WiFi 2.4G and 5G LEDs light up in amber. 2 Press the WPS button on the client. If the WPS method fails, perform the Using SSID method.

EN Open a web browser and go to . Enter the default Username (admin) and admin login password (on the device label), and then click Login. Go to System Status to check your Internet status. Go to Configuration > WAN > Management WAN > Modify to set up your Internet. Go to Configuration > WAN > Wireless > Wireless to change your SSID.

EN (Optional) Drill two holes at the distance of 100mm apart. Insert screw anchors and screws (not provided) into the holes. Attach the bracket to your EMG2881-T20A with the bracket holes

facing down. Hang it on the screws.

Troubleshooting

The EMG2881-T20A doesn't turn on. - Make sure you are using the power adaptor or cord included with the EMG2881-T20A. - Make sure the power cable is connected. - Make sure the power adaptor is connected to an appropriate power source. Make sure the power source is turned on.

I cannot see or access the Login screen in the Web Configurator. - Make sure you are using the correct IP address. ? The default IP address is 192.168.1.1. ? If you changed the IP address, use the new IP address. ? If you changed the IP address and have forgotten it, you have to reset the device to its factory defaults. - Check the hardware connections, and make sure the LEDs are behaving as expected. - Make sure your Internet browser does not block pop-up windows and has JavaScript enabled. - Make sure your computer and the EMG2881-T20A are in the same subnet. - Make sure you have entered the Username and Password correctly. The default Username is admin, and the default Password is assigned randomly (on the device label). If this does not work, you have to reset the EMG2881-T20A to its factory defaults.

I cannot access the Internet. - Check the hardware connections and the LED behavior. - Make sure the WAN port is connected to a broadband modem or router with Internet access. Your computer and the EMG2881-T20A should be in the same subnet. - Make sure you entered your ISP account information correctly. - If you are trying to access the Internet wirelessly, make sure that you enabled the wireless LAN in the EMG2881-T20A and your wireless client. Make sure you use the same wireless settings in the

wireless client and the EMG2881-T20A. - Disconnect all the cables from your EMG2881-T20A and reconnect them.
