Front Axle

On Models up to and including 1948 it was necessary to bend the "I" beam in order to correct caster and camber. Special heavy duty bending equipment is required to perform these services. Under no circumstances should heat be applied to the "I" beam since it is heat treated after forging and heating to red heat will make it unfit for use.
