Tohickon Middle School Virtual Live Event September 2020Q and A?Q: Will the class schedule and the welcome letters be available for parents, even for 8th and 9th Grade parents??A: There will be no physical, in person “Schedule Pick Up Day” this year due to the pandemic.? As a result, we will not be providing a paper schedule and paper welcome letter.? The academic teams are expected to reach out to their students virtually to welcome them. ?Q: Are you aware yet if there will be a school musical this year??A: We do not know yet.? This is an event that is on hold until there is clarification from the district on how to proceed.? All five middle schools will be doing the same thing.?Q: Will there be a list of recommended supplies for the students??A: There is a general supply list on the Tohickon Website.? However, in the virtual environment, many of these items are not applicable.? Teachers and/or teams will advise students on what they need during the first week of school.?Q: Is there a way to change what I selected for the 2020-2021 school year before we were limited to online only??A: Unfortunately, no.? We are unable to change selections at this time due to delicate class balancing.? Not all parents have teams. I tried to create an account in teams for myself so I could attend the meeting but was unsuccessful and unable to login. Will the presentation be posted in some way so that those of us who do not have teams can see the presentation as well as students who were unable to attend the meeting at the time of the broadcast.?A: The presentation on 9-2-2020 at 7:00 PM was a virtual live teams event and a Microsoft teams account was not needed to view.
