DEBBIE SHARP

OHIO STATE AUXILIARY

STATE MADAM SECRETARY

Debbie was initiated into Diamond Auxiliary #3491 in 1975. She is a PMP and is currently serving her 25th year as Secretary. She has served all chairs in District Auxiliary #15 and has been honored in the past to have been Mother of the Year for both her Auxiliary and District.

Debbie has held several Zone and State charity appointments and has been Buckeye Breeze Editor. She has also served as ECR Chairman for the Diabetes Research Center.

She is a true believer in our Ritual and has competed at all levels, for which she has received many 1st place awards. She is also the proud recipient of All-Star recognition in all five officer positions. Her two proudest accomplishments were when her Auxiliary’s Ritual Team was an “All Star Team”, and when she received a perfect score her first time competing in One Woman.

Debbie is married to Chuck, a member of Wright Aerie #2641 (dual of Diamond Aerie #3491). They both were honored to be inducted into their respective Ohio State Eagles Hall of Fame at the 2014 State Convention. They have one daughter, Adrienne, and one grandson, Jason, who are “the light of their lives”. Chuck and Debbie both volunteer for New Carlisle’s “one-of-a-kind” annual fall Heritage of Flight Festival & Parade committee, which boasts as having the “Best Airplane Parade in the World”.

She retired from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in January 2009 after 33+ years of service. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, NCAA basketball and football (OH-IO!), and rooting for the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. She feels blessed to have another family with all her Eagle Brothers and Sisters.

Debbie has served the Ohio State Auxiliary as Outside Guard, Treasurer, two years as Southwest Zone Trustee, and is currently serving her tenth year as Ohio State Auxiliary Secretary.
