Section 42-157(d) is hereby added to the Code of Ordinances of the City of South Sioux City, Nebraska to read as follows:Sec. 42-157. – Fireworks: Sale and Use.(d)It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge, explode, or use any permissible fireworks within the City of South Sioux City except from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on June 28th to July 3rd; from 8:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on July 4th to July 5th; and from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on December 31st to January 1st of each year. SECTION 2. REPEALER. The remainder of Chapter 42 shall remain the same. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. SERERABILITY CLAUSE. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or part thereof, not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.SECTION 4. WHEN EFFECTIVE.
