Fruits and Vegetables Jeopardy - OSU Extension

Fruits and Vegetables Jeopardy

Credit: Activity modified by Jeopardy prepared by Jerry Chenault/Jeanne Elkins of Alabama Cooperative Extension Service

Purpose: To learn about fruits and vegetables and their characteristics through a fun educational game.

Supplies: LCD projector and laptop

or

Print each slide from the PowerPoint for a storyboard.

Target Audience: Healthy Living A-Z participants

What to do:

Divide the youth into two teams. Select a team captain for each group. This person will answer for the team. Make sure team captains know to quickly confer with their teammates before answering. Another option is to play the game like Family Feud – let each player have an opportunity to answer a question.

The game can be played where one team gets a chance to “steal” (answer a question if the other team misses it). The game can be started with the flipping of a coin. The winning team is the one with the most points at the end of the game!
