Financial records are backed up on a daily basis and stored on flash drive.

Research data are stored on the personal computers of individual research program personnel and on the WSU-NWREC server and generally backed up on a weekly basis for storage in file cabinets.

Chemical inventories are stored on the WSU-NWREC server, which is backed up on a daily basis through WSU-CAHNRS

Summary of Department Recovery Plan for Mission Critical electronic data and anticipated recovery time:

Recovery time will be minimal since back up files exist.

WSU-NWREC will be purchasing fire/waterproof box for storage of physical data storage files (CDs, zip disks, flash-drives, etc.)
