Engine coolant temperature sensor on Nissan vehicles (2005-2007) isn't monitored for all failures (e.g, getting stuck at a high temperature) because Nissan failed to create a diagnostic to catch such problems; this failure mode is expected to be very rare in the real world and may cause overt indications to the driver (hot/overheat warnings ... ................
