Rough Ride After Transmission Repair

Debris inside the front struts may have caused the vehicle to have a rough ride after extended period

of time on the hoist. What is happening is the rubber rebound bumper inside the strut is breaking

down and producing fine sediment. This concern happens more often to vehicles that are exposed to

high heat and drive on rough roads. When the strut is fully extended (on hoist) small pieces of debris

and sediment are plugging that orifices in the strut rebound system.

If the ride is still rough after a long road test it will be necessary to replace the struts.
