Graded Project CALENDAR 2013: 50 points DUE DATE: 15 de marzo

• Instructions

• Make a calendar of 12 month. I will be showing a sample in class and you have an example at the bottom of the page.

• Use regular paper or construction paper “letter” size (regular printing paper). I am attaching a template to this rubric. You can copy the template 12 times and work with it. BE NEAT! The idea is that you use this calendar!!!!

• Expectations and Rules

• You may decorate the calendar as you want. Keep in mind that creativity and organization is important. It shows dedications and responsibility.

• The first day should be…lunes. All days of the week and the month must be lower case. The first of the month should be marked as “ 1º ”

• Mark special occasions in the calendar in SPANISH. Mark:

• Your Birthday and your family member’s: Mi cumpleaños or El cumpleaños de…

• Christmas: Navidad

• If not Christian, mark your special religious days: El día de…

• New Year’s: El día de Año Nuevo

• Day of the Dead: El día de los Muertos

• Independence day: El día de la Independencia

• You can add “latino” celebrations if you want!! Ask me…

• Mark “las estaciones” in your calendar according to the Southern and Northern hemisphere.

• Points: 50 points

• 20 points: Grammar and vocabulary

• 20 points: Presentation and creativity

• 10 points: Timing and completing the project appropriately: starts on Monday, includes holidays, has the seasons…
