This Contract is entered into by _________________________________ and the Board of Education of the Medina City School District and is subject to the reasonable rules and regulations adopted by the Board, the pertinent provisions of the Ohio Revised Code, the pertinent rules and regulations of the Ohio State Department of Education and the provisions of the Contract between the Board of Education of the Medina City School District and the Medina City Teachers' Association.

In consideration of such services the said Board of Education agrees to pay said teacher the salary as set forth in the annual salary notice and in accordance with Section 3319.08 & .09 O.R.C., less contribution to the State Teachers Retirement System, Federal Withholding Tax, and any other deductions required by law, and deductions for absence that may be required by the rules and regulations of the Board. Said annual salary notice shall be given to said teacher not later than July 1st of each year, as required by Section 3319.12 O.R.C., and shall become a part of this Contract as though fully set forth herein.

Definition of regular duties: teach in area assigned and assume additional student control duties in accord with Article IX of the agreement between the MCTA and the Board of Education.
