NETS QUICK HITS

IF THE NETS WIN

It would extend Brooklyn's win streak vs. Miami to five, which would match the Nets' longest-ever win streak vs. Miami (previously: 3/15/02 ? 4/4/03). The Nets' active four-game win streak against the Heat is their longest since 11/1/13 ? 4/8/14, when Brooklyn swept the season series with Miami, 4-0 ? this was the last time the Nets swept the season series with the Heat prior to the 2022-23 campaign. Brooklyn was one of two teams to sweep the season series with Miami last season (also: Denver, Miami's opponent in the NBA Finals).

It would extend Brooklyn's road win streak at Miami to four games, which would mark the Nets' longest-ever road win streak against the Heat. The Nets have won three straight road games in Miami three times: 3/26/22 ? 3/25/23 (active), 12/29/17 ? 11/20/18, 12/29/06 ? 2/1/08.

NETS IN NOVEMBER & TAKING ON THE HEAT

Tonight's game at Miami represents one of just five road games the Nets will play in the month of November. Brooklyn also plays at Chicago on Friday and then plays just three road games across the rest of the month. The five road games are tied for the fewest in the month of November for the Nets in franchise history, matching Nov. 1987.

The Nets and Heat will meet four times in 2023-24, with three of those matchups set to take place this month: 11/1 at Miami, 11/16 at Miami and 11/25 vs. Miami. The fourth and final matchup will take place on 1/15 vs. Miami. The Heat are the only team the Nets will face three times in a single month this season.

LAST GAME ? NETS SHAKE OFF TWO CLOSELY-CONTESTED LOSSES, ROLL PAST HORNETS IN CHARLOTTE

The Nets lost the first two games of the season vs. Cleveland and at Dallas by a total of six points.
