An exciting opportunity to join the digital division of one of the largest and most diverse media houses in South Africa. The Ad Ops Campaign Manager role delivers the Successful implementation and management of client advertising campaigns across a broad range of network websites, mobile sites, emails products and applications. The role include day to day communication with sales teams, clients and other internal parties, providing support to the Ad Ops manager and sales team as required.

Responsibilities:

The Campaign manager is responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of advertising campaigns across the network within direct sold or programmatic sold capacities. This includes but is not limited to:

• Providing inventory forecasts to sales teams as and when requested

• Qa’ing creative and identifying, troubleshooting and fixing creative and delivery issues and website incompatibilities

• Accurate and efficient testing and trafficking of campaigns and prompt delivery of screenshots to sales teams and/or clients

• Monitoring of campaigns and making optimization suggestions to client or sales as requires

• Providing reports(scheduled and ad hoc) to sales team and/ or clients as and when requested

• Assisting to develop and research new innovations and advertising product opportunities and implementations

• Assist advertising product manager with ad hoc special projects as required

• Liaise with editorial and development teams on a regular basis

• Stay abreast of current industry trends and news

Requirements:

• Ambitious, enthusiastic, pro-active self-starter with excellent attention to detail, time management and prioritisation skills

• Passionate about client service, advertising, online marketing and technology with deep understanding of the global digital advertising landscape

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently and juggle multiple tasks at the same time

• Be flexible and resourceful with ability to work as part of the a team or independently as required

• Excellent clients service skills and strong sense of business acumen

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong analytical skills with a curious attitude as to why things are the why they are

• Prior knowledge of ad operations and campaign management processes and procedures

• Knowledge of flash, HTML (essential) CSS, JavaScript (advantageous) and other programming languages (advantageous)
