Humboldt County Memorial Hospital (HCMH) has substantially completed a stateof-the-art 40,000 square foot wellness hub expansion and more than 5,000 square foot remodel of existing space.

"We are proud and pleased of the results of this health care expansion in our community and are anxious to show it to the community," HCMH Chief Executive Officer Michelle Sleiter said.

The open house has been set for Sunday, Nov. 24, from 1-4 p.m. Because of the open house, UnityPoint Clinic walk-in hours will be from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday.

There will be a Chamber ribbon cutting at 1 p.m. and an HCMH Foundation donor wall ribbon cutting at 2 p.m. People who had plaques on the old donor wall may pick them up at that time.

People are invited to tour the new facility, including the UnityPoint Clinic ? Humboldt; Outpatient Specialty Clinic, Lab; Patient Registration; Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy; Pediatric Therapy; Cardiopulmonary Center; Diabetes Center; and Foundation Conference Room. Visitors can talk to health care providers and staff and enjoy refreshments at the new Genevieve's Caf? and Gift Shop.

Door prizes will be given away. Parking will be available in the recently completed east side parking lot and use the new east side entrance off 15th Street North.
