Gronk was a tight end for the New England Patriots who played from 2010-2018 and has just recently retired from the NFL. Something interesting I noticed was a link to shop Gronk items such as T-shirts and sunglasses. Gronk’s profile picture on Facebook is him celebrating a touchdown doing his famous “Gronk spike” in which he viciously spikes the ball into the turf. The cover image on his page is himself carrying the ball during a game with defenders in the foreground. In the “about” tab the information included is his birthday, his website, and an article written about him from the Boston Globe. The most popular timeline posts as of now for Gronk are the ones about him officially retiring from the NFL. This is included with a picture of himself holding the Lombardy trophy after winning the Super Bowl in 2019. Most posts on the timeline are created by Gronk and his company. Gronk’s page “likes” all of his brother’s pages as well as Tom Brady and the NFL’s page.As for audience interaction in the last few posts there are a lot. They are all positive comments regarding his recent new of retiring. It is filled with uplifting support from all around New England.The content of Gronk’s twitter profile is also filled with tweets and pictures of him saying he is retiring from the NFL. The twitter profile picture Gronk has right now is him on top of someone on their backs laying down on what looks like the red carpet. His banner image is him during a game signaling a first down with his arm. The only information included in Gronk’s bio is “New England Patriots Tight End” which is no longer true, and a link to his webpage. Most of Gronk’s tweets contain images or videos and the most popular ones are him making a great catch or doing something good in the community. Most tweets on his page are tweets made by him rather than retweets. What is done well is that it is a very simple page and not much non important content. What could be improved is to maybe update it a little since he does not play in the NFL anymore. Audience interaction on Gronk’s Twitter page is pretty filled right now with the new of his retirement. Again it is all filled with encouraging tweets saying how good of a player he was and how much he will be missed in New England. Like most celebrities he does not respond to tweets but to me I think that is smart of him incase anything arises in a negative way from them.Content on Rob Gronkowski’s Instagram page is filled with photos of him playing football, to him with his family/friends, as well as him promoting ads such as Honey nut Cheerios and Tide Pods. The profile picture on Gronk’s account is him wearing a button up shirt with what looks like a sports coat over it, much more professional than his Twitter profile picture. Gronk’s bio on Instagram includes his name as well as “The one and only RoB G from the New England Patriots” and another link to his website. The most popular content of his page is him playing football and comes with mostly photos and some of his video highlights. Again with what can be approved can included updating the bio since he is no longer part of the New England Patriots. As far as the audience interaction of Instagram it is only comments on the photos and videos that are posted to his page. They are all filled with positive comments mostly because of his retirement but also because of how much of a fan favorite he was and everyone loved watching him play because of how dominant he was.I think Rob Gronkowski is most successful interacting and connecting with his audience on Instagram. Instagram is where he first released the news that he was retiring from the NFL which now has almost 1.5 million likes and 77 thousand comments. Also I feel like people enjoy his posts because most of them have funny captions and the photos also show him playing football, a sport that he was good at which is very appealing to his audience that follow him. ................
