2019 Credit Recovery Summer School ProgramDress Code and Attendance GuidelinesAll students must adhere to the Summer School dress code and attendance guidelines. Administrators have the right and responsibility to determine the appropriateness of student’s dress and grooming during summer school. Students are allowed to wear shorts as long as they are at or below the knee. (Sweatpants, basketball shorts, joggers, tights, leggings, skirts, and dresses are strictly prohibited).Students may wear any color polo-styled shirt, solid-color T-shirt, or Worthing Spirit Shirt. Revealing and/ or tight garments are prohibited. Any low cut, see through, backless, tank top, blouses, dresses or muscle shirts may not be worn.Students may not wear suggestive or inappropriately located decorative patches, insignias, or clothing with improper advertising, pictures, slogans and/or statements. Clothing that displays drug symbols, tobacco, and/ or alcohol products are not allowed.No type or head gear may be worn on campus. This includes all types of hats, caps, wave caps, shower caps, scarves, beanies, and hair rollers.No gang-related paraphernalia may be worn or displayed.Sandals with a back strap may be worn. Flip flops are not allowed.Consequences for dress code and attendance violations:Students that violate the Summer School Dress Code will be sent home and receive an unexcused absence for all classes not attended on that day. Repeated dress code violations will be considered discipline infractions and will be responded to appropriately. Please remember students, you are not allowed to have more than three tardies or two absences during summer school.
