Unanimously carried.Consensus ItemsMotion made by Jody McLaughlin and seconded by Jude Auman to approve thefollowing consensus items:To approve the Treasurer’s Report for the Payroll, Lunch, General Checking,Treasurer’s General Savings, General Investments, Activities, and Trust & Agency FundsReportas of July 31, 2020.To approve the School Tax Warrant in the amount of $2,822,916.75 for theTax Warrant2020-2021 school year.To approve the amended 2020-2021 School Calendar.School CalendarTo approve the attached substitute list for the 2020-2021 school year.Sub. GastonGaston, Bus Monitor, who has successfully completed her probationaryappointment is hereby made permanent effective August 25, 2020. Neasethat Emily Nease, Teacher Aide, who has successfully completed herprobationary appointment is hereby made permanent effective August 25,2020. Unanimously carried.Motion made by Amanda McDonnell and seconded by Jude Auman to T. Steinerappoint Troy Steiner as a regular bus driver for a one-year probationaryperiod to commence August 25, 2020 and to end August 24, 2021. Thehourly rate of pay will be $15.90. Unanimously carried.Motion made by Amanda McDonnell and seconded by Jarrod Bell that theCSEA MOABoard of Education hereby approves the Memorandum of Agreement between the District, the CSEA Union, and a particular employee extending the probationaryperiod of a CSEA member in accordance with the terms set forth therein.Unanimously carried.Motion made by Jude Auman and seconded by Jarrod Bell to approve FrankExtracurricularSmith as a volunteer assistant football coach for the 2020-2021 season.Unanimously carried.Motion made by Jody McLaughlin and seconded by Amanda McDonnell thatE. JoyceElizabeth Joyce, who holds a Professional New York State Teaching Certificatepermitting her to teach in the Literacy certification area, is hereby conditionallyappointed to the position of Reading teacher in the Remedial Reading tenurearea for a probationary period of four (4) years, to commence on August 25,2020 and to end on August 24, 2024. Eligibility for tenure at the end of the probationary period is dependent on Mrs. Joyce receiving APPR ratings ofEffective or Highly Effective in 3 of 4 preceding years and no Ineffective Composite or overall rating in the final year. The salary during the first yearof this appointment will be paid in accordance with the salary schedule, at Step 1, as provided in the Teachers’ Collective Bargaining Agreement.Unanimously carried.Motion made by Jarrod Bell and seconded by Jude Auman to approve JessicaJ. GiardiniGiardini for a long-term unencumbered teaching position in Early ChildhoodEducation to commence August 25, 2020 and to end June 30, 2021, to be paid at Step 1, as provided in the Teachers’ Collective Bargaining Agreement.Unanimously carried.Motion made by Jody McLaughlin and seconded by Amanda McDonnell to adjourn theAdjournmentmeeting at 7:18 PM, there being no further business.
