Christ's Home

November 17, 2020Dear Residents and Resident Responsible Persons,This letter is addressed to our Residents and those on record as Resident Responsible Parties. I encourage you to share this information with your extended family members and friends. As we approach the holiday season, amidst increases in COVID-19 infections in our county, we continue striving to maintain the safety of residents and of each other by avoiding situations which risk exposure to the virus. We understand the desire to gather as families during the holidays and the difficult decisions being made regarding visitation during this time of high infection rates in our surrounding community and recent outbreaks within Christ’s Home. Our staff is also being cautioned to make safe choices during the holidays, as they too are experiencing the difficulties of continued separation from friends and loved ones.Based on the information we are receiving from our healthcare organizations and licensing agencies; the current high positivity rate in Bucks county; and, recent outbreaks within our community from which all departments are not yet infection-free for 14 days, Christ’s Home is strongly discouraging residents from leaving the community for holiday celebrations. Please note: A Resident awaiting test results and/or under surveillance (Yellow Zone) for exposure and possible infection should continue to quarantine in his/her room for the appropriate time period. In order to guide us, Christ’s Home has established the attached Medical and Non-Medical Outings policy. After review of the attached policy, if you are considering Resident attendance at a gathering please inform your Administrator. The Administrator will need to determine the safety risks to both the Resident and to the Christ’s Home community to which the Resident will be returning. We know you understand and appreciate the necessity to take the appropriate precautions to continue our efforts to mitigate infection in the Healthcare Center. Our current infection status will continue to be updated on our COVID-19 Hotline Number which can be accessed at 267-532-4519 and on our website at . If you have any questions about the information in this letter, please don’t hesitate to contact the appropriate Administrator at the number below. Thank you for your continued prayers and well wishes for our community.Sincerely,Karen AlizziAdministrator for Skilled Nursing Services267-532-4606Brenda MastAdministrator for Personal Care Services267-532-4582 ................
