Fire Starter Festival – Celebrating creativity and ...

How to upload your event to the FSF Events Calendar - FSF 2020 guideThis year we are hosting the Fire Starter Festival (FSF) events on our new events calendar our website. We’re hoping that this will be an easier solution after getting feedback that having over a hundred events on our FSF Eventbrite account wasn’t ideal for either attendees or event organisers. So this year we have a slightly different solution.READ FIRST:We’re asking event organisers to create their own Eventbrite account and upload their event details there (or use a similar event website – as long as people can book tickets on it). Once that’s done you are ready to upload your event information and your Eventbrite link to our FSF events calendar. If you need help using Eventbrite please see their guidance on their website. This gives you a quick introduction and has further links to read more about each step. You do not need to read the parts concerning Eventbrite Music.1) Set up your event on Eventbrite. Please include ‘this event is part of the Fire starter Festival 2020’ in your event description and link to our website: ) Once you have your Eventbrite event published/ live, go to the FSF website and click on the top bar where it says ‘Submit event.’3) On the Submit Event page create an FSF events calendar profile login by putting in your email address at the top. Then you can proceed to filling out the form. Once completed you can preview how the event will look before you submit it to us by clicking the ‘preview’ button at the bottom of the page. If you’re happy with the event, please click ‘submit’.4) As soon as you have submitted your event, please email firestarter@ from the email you’d like the FSF team to contact you on. Please let us know your FSF events calendar sign up email address and the name of the event you just submitted.4) After you have submitted your event, the FSF team will receive it through the website with an ‘appending approval’ status. One of our administrators will look through your event to see that everything is in order. If it is, your event will be approved and will appear within 24 hours on the events calendar. If there’s anything missing or any issues with your event, our team will email you to discuss before we approve it.5) If you want to log back in to edit your event or to submit another event, go to the ‘Sign in’ page on the FSF Website and use the email you signed up with to log in.If you need help, please email our team at firestarter@, and we will aim to get back to you within 2 days. ................
